Weekday Morning Prayer

Blessed be you YHVH our God, King of the universe, who has sanctified with his commandments to don four corners with tzitzit, Amen. (K.S.)

And YHVH commanded us to do all these statutes, to fear YHVH our God, for our good always, that He might preserve us alive, as it is at this day. And it shall be righteousness unto us, if we observe to do all this commandment before YHVH our God, as He hath commanded us. (Deuteronomy 6:24-25) He declareth His word unto Jacob, His statutes and His ordinances unto Israel. He hath not dealt so with any nation; and as for His ordinances, they have not known them. Hallelujah. (Psalms 147:19-20) Blessed be YHVH for evermore. Amen, and Amen. (Psalms 89:53)

Who am I, but dust and ashes, wretched and woeful, vain and empty, that I may be worthy to stand in prayer before the great and awesome king, sublime and exalted is his name, the king of emperors, the Holy One blessed be He, the cause of all causes, the reason for all reasons; but I am dependent upon his great mercy and his magnificent grace, for he has mercy upon on his creations and accepts the prayers and supplications of his servants, as it is written: (K.S.) YHVH is nigh unto all them that call upon Him, to all that call upon Him in truth. He will fulfil the desire of them that fear Him; He also will hear their cry, and will save them. (Psalms 145:18-19) O Thou that hearest prayer, unto Thee doth all flesh come. (Psalms 65:3) Happy are they that dwell in Thy house, they are ever praising Thee. Selah. (Psalms 84:5)

O YHVH, in the morning shalt Thou hear my voice; in the morning will I order my prayer unto Thee, and will look forward. (Psalms 5:4) But as for me, unto Thee, O YHVH, do I cry, and in the morning doth my prayer come to meet Thee. (Psalms 88:14)

Blessed be the name of YHVH from this time forth and for ever. From the rising of the sun unto the going down thereof YHVH’S name is to be praised. (Psalms 113:2-3) A Psalm of David. Bless YHVH, O my soul; and all that is within me, bless His holy name. Bless YHVH, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits; Who forgiveth all thine iniquity; who healeth all Thy diseases; Who redeemeth Thy life from the pit; who encompasseth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies; Who satisfieth thine old age with good things; so that Thy youth is renewed like the eagle. YHVH executeth righteousness, and acts of justice for all that are oppressed. He made known His ways unto Moses, His doings unto the children of Israel. YHVH is full of compassion and gracious, slow to anger, and plenteous in mercy. He will not always contend; neither will He keep His anger for ever. He hath not dealt with us after our sins, nor requited us according to our iniquities. For as the heaven is high above the earth, so great is His mercy toward them that fear Him. As far as the east is from the west, so far hath He removed our transgressions from us. Like as a father hath compassion upon his children, so hath YHVH compassion upon them that fear Him. For He knoweth our frame; He remembereth that we are dust. As for man, his days are as grass; as a flower of the field, so he flourisheth. For the wind passeth over it, and it is gone; and the place thereof knoweth it no more. But the mercy of YHVH is from everlasting to everlasting upon them that fear Him, and His righteousness unto children’s children; To such as keep His covenant, and to those that remember His precepts to do them. YHVH hath established His throne in the heavens; and His kingdom ruleth over all. Bless YHVH, ye angels of His, ye mighty in strength, that fulfil His word, hearkening unto the voice of His word. Bless YHVH, all ye His hosts; ye ministers of His, that do His pleasure. Bless YHVH, all ye His works, in all places of His dominion; bless YHVH, O my soul. (Psalms 103:1-22)

Bless YHVH, O my soul. O YHVH my God, Thou art very great; Thou art clothed with glory and majesty. Who coverest Thyself with light as with a garment, who stretchest out the heavens like a curtain; Who layest the beams of Thine upper chambers in the waters, who makest the clouds Thy chariot, who walkest upon the wings of the wind; Who makest winds Thy messengers, the flaming fire Thy ministers. Who didst establish the earth upon its foundations, that it should not be moved for ever and ever; Thou didst cover it with the deep as with a vesture; the waters stood above the mountains. At Thy rebuke they fled, at the voice of Thy thunder they hasted away — The mountains rose, the valleys sank down — unto the place which Thou hadst founded for them; Thou didst set a bound which they should not pass over, that they might not return to cover the earth. Who sendest forth springs into the valleys; they run between the mountains; They give drink to every beast of the field, the wild asses quench their thirst. Beside them dwell the fowl of the heaven, from among the branches they sing. Who waterest the mountains from Thine upper chambers; the earth is full of the fruit of Thy works. Who causeth the grass to spring up for the cattle, and herb for the service of man; to bring forth bread out of the earth, And wine that maketh glad the heart of man, making the face brighter than oil, and bread that stayeth man’s heart. The trees of YHVH have their fill, the cedars of Lebanon, which He hath planted; Wherein the birds make their nests; as for the stork, the fir-trees are her house. The high mountains are for the wild goats; the rocks are a refuge for the conies. Who appointedst the moon for seasons; the sun knoweth his going down. Thou makest darkness, and it is night, wherein all the beasts of the forest do creep forth. The young lions roar after their prey, and seek their food from God. The sun ariseth, they slink away, and couch in their dens. Man goeth forth unto his work and to his labour until the evening. How manifold are Thy works, O YHVH! In wisdom hast Thou made them all; the earth is full of Thy creatures. Yonder sea, great and wide, therein are creeping things innumerable, living creatures, both small and great. There go the ships; there is leviathan, whom Thou hast formed to sport therein. All of them wait for Thee, that Thou mayest give them their food in due season. Thou givest it unto them, they gather it; Thou openest Thy hand, they are satisfied with good. Thou hidest Thy face, they vanish; Thou withdrawest their breath, they perish, and return to their dust. Thou sendest forth Thy spirit, they are created; and Thou renewest the face of the earth. May the glory of YHVH endure for ever; let YHVH rejoice in His works! Who looketh on the earth, and it trembleth; He toucheth the mountains, and they smoke. I will sing unto YHVH as long as I live; I will sing praise to my God while I have any being. Let my musing be sweet unto Him; as for me, I will rejoice in YHVH. Let sinners cease out of the earth, and let the wicked be no more. Bless YHVH, O my soul. Hallelujah. (Psalms 104:1-35)

Blessed be YHVH God, the God of Israel, who only doeth wondrous things; And blessed be His glorious name for ever; and let the whole earth be filled with His glory. Amen, and Amen. (Psalms 72:18-19)

Stand and say:

O Thou that hearest prayer, unto Thee doth all flesh come. (Psalms 65:3) For YHVH hearkeneth unto the needy, and despiseth not His prisoners. (Psalms 69:34) For He hath not despised nor abhorred the lowliness of the poor; neither hath He hid His face from him; but when he cried unto Him, He heard. (Psalms 22:25) Hear, O YHVH, when I call with my voice, and be gracious unto me, and answer me. (Psalms 27:7) Hear, O YHVH, and be gracious unto me; YHVH, be Thou my helper. (Psalms 30:11) YHVH, I have called Thee; make haste unto me; give ear unto my voice, when I call unto Thee. (Psalms 141:1*) Answer me when I call, O God of my righteousness, Thou who didst set me free when I was in distress; be gracious unto me, and hear my prayer. (Psalms 4:2)

I will thank Thee, O Lord my God, with my whole heart; and I will glorify Thy name for evermore. (Psalms 86:12) O YHVH, Thy name endureth for ever; thy memorial, O YHVH, throughout all generations. (Psalms 135:13) YHVH by wisdom founded the earth; by understanding He established the heavens. (Proverbs 3:19) Thy lovingkindness, O YHVH, is in the heavens; Thy faithfulness reacheth unto the skies. (Psalms 36:6) YHVH hath established His throne in the heavens; and His kingdom ruleth over all. O YHVH, there is none like Thee, neither is there any God beside Thee, according to all that we have heard with our ears. (1Chronicles 17:20) There is none like unto Thee, O YHVH; Thou art great, and Thy name is great in might. (Jeremiah 10:6-7) Thy righteousness also, O God, which reacheth unto high heaven; Thou who hast done great things, O God, who is like unto Thee? (Psalms 71:19) Who is like unto Thee, O YHVH, among the mighty? who is like unto Thee, glorious in holiness, fearful in praises, doing wonders? And God said: ‘Let there be light.’ And there was light. (Genesis 1:3) I form the light, and create darkness; I make peace, and create evil; I am YHVH, that doeth all these things. (Nehemiah 9:6) We also will serve YHVH; for He is our God. (Joshua 24:18*) This is my God, and I will glorify Him; my father’s God, and I will exalt Him. (Exodus 15:2*) Thou art my God, and I will give thanks unto Thee; Thou art my God, I will exalt Thee. (Psalms 118:28)

O give thanks unto YHVH, for He is good, for His mercy endureth for ever. O give thanks unto the God of gods, for His mercy endureth for ever. O give thanks unto the Lord of lords, for His mercy endureth for ever. To Him who alone doeth great wonders, for His mercy endureth for ever. To Him that by understanding made the heavens, for His mercy endureth for ever. To Him that spread forth the earth above the waters, for His mercy endureth for ever. To Him that made great lights, for His mercy endureth for ever; The sun to rule by day, for His mercy endureth for ever; The moon and stars to rule by night, for His mercy endureth for ever. (Psalms 136:1-9) Who giveth food to all flesh, for His mercy endureth for ever. O give thanks unto the God of heaven, for His mercy endureth for ever. On Sunday:

YHVH by wisdom founded the earth; by understanding He established the heavens. (Proverbs 3:19)

In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. Now the earth was unformed and void, and darkness was upon the face of the deep; and the spirit of God hovered over the face of the waters. And God said: ‘Let there be light.’ And there was light. And God saw the light, that it was good; and God divided the light from the darkness. And God called the light Day, and the darkness He called Night. And there was evening and there was morning, one day. (Genesis 1:1-5)

On Monday:

And God said: ‘Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters.’ And God made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament; and it was so. And God called the firmament Heaven. And there was evening and there was morning, a second day. (Genesis 1:6-8)

On Tuesday:

And God said: ‘Let the waters under the heaven be gathered together unto one place, and let the dry land appear.’ And it was so. And God called the dry land Earth, and the gathering together of the waters called He Seas; and God saw that it was good. And God said: ‘Let the earth put forth grass, herb yielding seed, and fruit-tree bearing fruit after its kind, wherein is the seed thereof, upon the earth.’ And it was so. And the earth brought forth grass, herb yielding seed after its kind, and tree bearing fruit, wherein is the seed thereof, after its kind; and God saw that it was good. And there was evening and there was morning, a third day. (Genesis 1:9-13)

On Wednesday:

And God said: ‘Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days and years; and let them be for lights in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth.’ And it was so. And God made the two great lights: the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night; and the stars. And God set them in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth, and to rule over the day and over the night, and to divide the light from the darkness; and God saw that it was good. And there was evening and there was morning, a fourth day. (Genesis 1:14-19)

On Thursday:

And God said: ‘Let the waters swarm with swarms of living creatures, and let fowl fly above the earth in the open firmament of heaven.’ And God created the great sea-monsters, and every living creature that creepeth, wherewith the waters swarmed, after its kind, and every winged fowl after its kind; and God saw that it was good. And God blessed them, saying: ‘Be fruitful, and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let fowl multiply in the earth.’ And there was evening and there was morning, a fifth day. (Genesis 1:20-23)

On Friday:

And God said: ‘Let the earth bring forth the living creature after its kind, cattle, and creeping thing, and beast of the earth after its kind.’ And it was so. And God made the beast of the earth after its kind, and the cattle after their kind, and every thing that creepeth upon the ground after its kind; and God saw that it was good. And God said: ‘Let us make man in our image, after our likeness; and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.’ And God created man in His own image, in the image of God created He him; male and female created He them. And God blessed them; and God said unto them: ‘Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it; and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that creepeth upon the earth.’ And God said: ‘Behold, I have given you every herb yielding seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed — to you it shall be for food; and to every beast of the earth, and to every fowl of the air, and to every thing that creepeth upon the earth, wherein there is a living soul, I have given every green herb for food.’ And it was so. And God saw every thing that He had made, and, behold, it was very good. And there was evening and there was morning, the sixth day. (Genesis 1:24-31)

After the section on creation say:

Who knoweth not among all these, that the hand of YHVH hath wrought this? (Job 12:9) How manifold are Thy works, O YHVH! In wisdom hast Thou made them all; the earth is full of Thy creatures. (Psalms 104:24) How great are Thy works, O YHVH! Thy thoughts are very deep. (Psalms 92:6) I know that Thou canst do every thing, and that no purpose can be withholden from Thee. (Job 42:2) For I know that YHVH is great, and that our Lord is above all gods. Whatsoever YHVH pleased, that hath He done, in heaven and in earth, in the seas and in all deeps. (Psalms 135:5-6) That I may make the voice of thanksgiving to be heard, and tell of all Thy wondrous works. (Psalms 26:7)

A Psalm of thanksgiving. Shout unto YHVH, all the earth. Serve YHVH with gladness; come before His presence with singing. Know ye that YHVH He is God; it is He that hath made us, and we our His, His people, and the flock of His pasture. Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, and into His courts with praise; give thanks unto Him, and bless His name. For YHVH is good; His mercy endureth for ever; and His faithfulness unto all generations. (Psalms 100:1-5) The beginning of Thy word is truth; and all Thy righteous ordinance endureth for ever. (Psalms 119:160) Thou hast ordained Thy precepts, that we should observe them diligently. (Psalms 119:4)

And YHVH spoke unto Moses, saying: Command the children of Israel, and say unto them: My food which is presented unto Me for offerings made by fire, of a sweet savour unto Me, shall ye observe to offer unto Me in its due season. And thou shalt say unto them: This is the offering made by fire which ye shall bring unto YHVH: he-lambs of the first year without blemish, two day by day, for a continual burnt-offering. The one lamb shalt thou offer in the morning, and the other lamb shalt thou offer at dusk; and the tenth part of an ephah of fine flour for a meal-offering, mingled with the fourth part of a hin of beaten oil. It is a continual burnt-offering, which was offered in mount Sinai, for a sweet savour, an offering made by fire unto YHVH. And the drink-offering thereof shall be the fourth part of a hin for the one lamb; in the holy place shalt thou pour out a drink-offering of strong drink unto YHVH. And the other lamb shalt thou present at dusk; as the meal-offering of the morning, and as the drink-offering thereof, thou shalt present it, an offering made by fire, of a sweet savour unto YHVH. (Numbers 28:1-8)

And Aaron shall burn thereon incense of sweet spices; every morning, when he dresseth the lamps, he shall burn it. (Exodus 30:7) And to stand every morning to thank and praise YHVH, and likewise at even; (1Chronicles 23:30) I will praise the name of God with a song, and will magnify Him with thanksgiving. (Psalms 69:31)

On Sunday:

Let the heavens be glad, and let the earth rejoice; let the sea roar, and the fulness thereof. (Psalms 96:11) YHVH reigneth; let the peoples tremble; He is enthroned upon the cherubim; let the earth quake. YHVH is great in Zion; and He is high above all the peoples. Let them praise Thy name as great and awful; Holy is He. The strength also of the king who loveth justice — Thou hast established equity, Thou hast executed justice and righteousness in Jacob. Exalt ye YHVH our God, and prostrate yourselves at His footstool; Holy is He. Moses and Aaron among His priests, and Samuel among them that call upon His name, did call upon YHVH, and He answered them. He spoke unto them in the pillar of cloud; they kept His testimonies, and the statute that He gave them. O YHVH our God, Thou didst answer them; a forgiving God wast Thou unto them, though Thou tookest vengeance of their misdeeds. Exalt ye YHVH our God, and bows down towards His holy hill; for YHVH our God is holy. (Psalms 99:1-9) Blessed be YHVH for evermore. Amen, and Amen. (Psalms 89:53)

On Monday:

O YHVH, Thou God to whom vengeance belongeth, Thou God to whom vengeance belongeth, shine forth. Lift up Thyself, Thou Judge of the earth; render to the proud their recompense. YHVH, how long shall the wicked, how long shall the wicked exult? They gush out, they speak arrogancy; all the workers of iniquity bear themselves loftily. They crush Thy people, O YHVH, and afflict Thy heritage. They slay the widow and the stranger, and murder the fatherless. And they say: ‘YHVH will not see, neither will the God of Jacob give heed.’ Consider, ye brutish among the people; and ye fools, when will ye understand? He that planted the ear, shall He not hear? He that formed the eye, shall He not see? He that instructeth nations, shall not He correct? even He that teacheth man knowledge? YHVH knoweth the thoughts of man, that they are vanity. Happy is the man whom Thou instructest, O YHVH, and teachest out of Thy law; That Thou mayest give him rest from the days of evil, until the pit be digged for the wicked. For YHVH will not cast off His people, neither will He forsake His inheritance. For right shall return unto justice, and all the upright in heart shall follow it. Who will rise up for me against the evil-doers? Who will stand up for me against the workers of iniquity? Unless YHVH had been my help, my soul had soon dwelt in silence. If I say: ‘My foot slippeth’, Thy mercy, O YHVH, holdeth me up. When my cares are many within me, Thy comforts delight my soul. Shall the seat of wickedness have fellowship with Thee, which frameth mischief by statute? They gather themselves together against the soul of the righteous, and condemn innocent blood. But YHVH hath been my high tower, and my God the rock of my refuge. And He hath brought upon them their own iniquity, and will cut them off in their own evil; YHVH our God will cut them off. (Psalms 94:1-23) Blessed be YHVH for evermore. Amen, and Amen. (Psalms 89:53)

On Tuesday:

O come, let us sing unto YHVH; let us shout for joy to the Rock of our salvation. Let us come before His presence with thanksgiving, let us shout for joy unto Him with psalms. For YHVH is a great God, and a great King above all gods; In whose hand are the depths of the earth; the heights of the mountains are His also. The sea is His, and He made it; and His hands formed the dry land. O come, let us bow down and bend the knee; let us kneel before YHVH our Maker; For He is our God, and we are the people of His pasture, and the flock of His hand. To-day, if ye would but hearken to His voice! ‘Harden not your heart, as at Meribah, as in the day of Massah in the wilderness; When your fathers tried Me, proved Me, even though they saw My work. For forty years was I wearied with that generation, and said: It is a people that do err in their heart, and they have not known My ways; Wherefore I swore in My wrath, that they should not enter into My rest.’ (Psalms 95:1-11) Blessed be YHVH for evermore. Amen, and Amen. (Psalms 89:53)

On Wednesday:

O sing unto YHVH a new song; sing unto YHVH, all the earth. Sing unto YHVH, bless His name; proclaim His salvation from day to day. Declare His glory among the nations, His marvellous works among all the peoples. For great is YHVH, and highly to be praised; He is to be feared above all gods. For all the gods of the peoples are things of nought; but YHVH made the heavens. Honour and majesty are before Him; strength and beauty are in His sanctuary. Ascribe unto YHVH, ye kindreds of the peoples, ascribe unto YHVH glory and strength. Ascribe unto YHVH the glory due unto His name; bring an offering, and come into His courts. O bow down unto YHVH in the beauty of holiness; tremble before Him, all the earth. Say among the nations: ‘YHVH reigneth.’ The world also is established that it cannot be moved; He will judge the peoples with equity. Let the heavens be glad, and let the earth rejoice; let the sea roar, and the fulness thereof; Let the field exult; and all that is therein; then shall all the trees of the wood sing for joy; Before YHVH, for He is come; for He is come to judge the earth; He will judge the world with righteousness, and the peoples in His faithfulness. (Psalms 96:1-13) Blessed be YHVH for evermore. Amen, and Amen. (Psalms 89:53)

On Thursday:

YHVH reigneth; let the earth rejoice; let the multitude of isles be glad. Clouds and darkness are round about Him; righteousness and justice are the foundation of His throne. A fire goeth before Him, and burneth up His adversaries round about. His lightnings lighted up the world; the earth saw, and trembled. The mountains melted like wax at the presence of YHVH, at the presence of the Lord of the whole earth. The heavens declared His righteousness, and all the peoples saw His glory. Ashamed be all they that serve graven images, that boast themselves of things of nought; bow down to Him, all ye gods. Zion heard and was glad, and the daughters of Judah rejoiced; because of Thy judgments, O YHVH. For Thou, YHVH, art most high above all the earth; Thou art exalted far above all gods. O ye that love YHVH, hate evil; He preserveth the souls of His saints; He delivered them out of the hand of the wicked. Light is sown for the righteous, and gladness for the upright in heart. Be glad in YHVH, ye righteous; and give thanks to His holy name. (Psalms 97:1-12) Blessed be YHVH for evermore. Amen, and Amen. (Psalms 89:53)

On Friday:

O YHVH, our Lord, how glorious is Thy name in all the earth! whose majesty is rehearsed above the heavens. Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings hast Thou founded strength, because of Thine adversaries; that Thou mightest still the enemy and the avenger. When I behold Thy heavens, the work of Thy fingers, the moon and the stars, which Thou hast established; What is man, that Thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that Thou thinkest of him? Yet Thou hast made him but little lower than the angels, and hast crowned him with glory and honour. Thou hast made him to have dominion over the works of Thy hands; Thou hast put all things under His feet: Sheep and oxen, all of them, yea, and the beasts of the field; The fowl of the air, and the fish of the sea; whatsoever passeth through the paths of the seas. O YHVH, our Lord, how glorious is Thy name in all the earth! (Psalms 8:2-10) Blessed be YHVH for evermore. Amen, and Amen. (Psalms 89:53)

And now, O our God, what shall we say after this? for we have forsaken Thy commandments. (Ezra 9:10) We have sinned with our fathers, we have done iniquitously, we have dealt wickedly. (Psalms 106:6) We have sinned, and have dealt iniquitously, and have done wickedly, and have rebelled, and have turned aside from Thy commandments and from Thine ordinances. (Daniel 9:5) What shall we say unto my lord? what shall we speak? or how shall we clear ourselves? (Genesis 44:16*) Because for our sins, and for the iniquities of our fathers, Jerusalem and Thy people are become a reproach to all that are about us. (Daniel 9:16*) The joy of our heart is ceased; our dance is turned into mourning. The crown is fallen from our head; woe unto us! for we have sinned. For this our heart is faint, for these things our eyes are dim; For the mountain of Zion, which is desolate, the foxes walk upon it. (Lamentations 5:15-18) If I forget thee, O Jerusalem, let my right hand forget her cunning. I have entreated Thy favour with my whole heart; be gracious unto me according to Thy word. (Psalms 119:58)

Be gracious unto me, O God, according to Thy mercy; according to the multitude of Thy compassions blot out my transgressions. Wash me thoroughly from mine iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin. For I know my transgressions; and my sin is ever before me. Against Thee, Thee only, have I sinned, and done that which is evil in Thy sight; that Thou mayest be justified when Thou speakest, and be in the right when Thou judgest. The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit; a broken and a contrite heart, O God, Thou wilt not despise. Do good in Thy favour unto Zion; build Thou the walls of Jerusalem. Who is a God like unto Thee, that pardoneth the iniquity, and passeth by the transgression of the remnant of His heritage? He retaineth not His anger for ever, because He delighteth in mercy. He will again have compassion upon us; He will subdue our iniquities; and Thou wilt cast all their sins into the depths of the sea. Thou wilt show faithfulness to Jacob, mercy to Abraham, as Thou hast sworn unto our fathers from the days of old. (Micah 7:18-20) For YHVH thy God is a merciful God; He will not fail thee, neither destroy thee, nor forget the covenant of thy fathers which He swore unto them. The proud have hid a snare for me, and cords; they have spread a net by the wayside; they have set gins for me. Selah I have said unto YHVH: ‘Thou art my God’; give ear, O YHVH, unto the voice of my supplications. O YHVH the Lord, the strength of my salvation, who hast screened my head in the day of battle, Grant not, O YHVH, the desires of the wicked; further not his evil device, so that they exalt themselves. Let burning coals fall upon them; let them be cast into the fire, into deep pits, that they rise not up again. My soul waiteth for the Lord, more than watchmen for the morning; yea, more than watchmen for the morning. O Israel, hope in YHVH; for with YHVH there is mercy, and with Him is plenteous redemption. He will send from heaven, and save me, when he that would swallow me up taunteth; Selah; God shall send forth His mercy and His truth. My soul is among lions, I do lie down among them that are aflame; even the sons of men, whose teeth are spears and arrows, and their tongue a sharp sword. Be Thou exalted, O God, above the heavens; Thy glory be above all the earth. As for the doings of men, by the word of Thy lips I have kept me from the ways of the violent. My steps have held fast to Thy paths, my feet have not slipped. As for me, I call upon Thee, for Thou wilt answer me, O God; incline Thine ear unto me, hear my speech. Make passing great Thy mercies, O Thou that savest by Thy right hand from assailants them that take refuge in Thee. Keep me as the apple of the eye, hide me in the shadow of Thy wings, From the wicked that oppress, my deadly enemies, that compass me about. Their gross heart they have shut tight, with their mouth they speak proudly. At our every step they have now encompassed us; they set their eyes to cast us down to the earth. He is like a lion that is eager to tear in pieces, and like a young lion lurking in secret places. Arise, O YHVH, confront him, cast him down; deliver my soul from the wicked, by Thy sword; From men, by Thy hand, O YHVH, from men of the world, whose portion is in this life, and whose belly Thou fillest with Thy treasure; who have children in plenty, and leave their abundance to their babes. Selah Thou hast withdrawn all Thy wrath; Thou hast turned from the fierceness of Thine anger. Restore us, O God of our salvation, and cause Thine indignation toward us to cease. Wilt Thou be angry with us for ever? Wilt Thou draw out Thine anger to all generations? Wilt Thou not quicken us again, that Thy people may rejoice in Thee? Show us Thy mercy, O YHVH, and grant us Thy salvation. I will hear what God YHVH will speak; for He will speak peace unto His people, and to His saints; but let them not turn back to folly. Surely His salvation is nigh them that fear Him; that glory may dwell in our land. Mercy and truth are met together; righteousness and peace have kissed each other. I am not afraid of ten thousands of people, that have set themselves against me round about. A Prayer of Moses the man of God. Lord, Thou hast been our dwelling-place in all generations. Before the mountains were brought forth, or ever Thou hadst formed the earth and the world, even from everlasting to everlasting, Thou art God. Thou turnest man to contrition; and sayest: ‘Return, ye children of men.’ For a thousand years in Thy sight are but as yesterday when it is past, and as a watch in the night. Thou carriest them away as with a flood; they are as a sleep; in the morning they are like grass which groweth up. In the morning it flourisheth, and groweth up; in the evening it is cut down, and withereth. For we are consumed in Thine anger, and by Thy wrath are we hurried away. Do not contemn us, for Thy name’s sake, do not dishonour the throne of Thy glory; remember, break not Thy covenant with us. Weekday Sanctification:

Surely YHVH’s mercies are not consumed, surely His compassions fail not. (Lamentations 3:22) Great are Thy compassions, O YHVH; quicken me as Thou art wont. (Psalms 119:156) Thou hast granted me life and favour, and Thy providence hath preserved my spirit. (Job 10:12) My times are in Thy hand; deliver me from the hand of mine enemies, and from them that persecute me. (Psalms 31:16) Into Thy hand I commit my spirit; Thou hast redeemed me, O YHVH, Thou God of truth. (Psalms 31:6) There is none holy as YHVH, for there is none beside Thee; neither is there any rock like our God. (1Samuel 2:2) Yet Thou art holy, O Thou that art enthroned upon the praises of Israel. (Psalms 22:4)

Thou, O YHVH, wilt not withhold Thy compassions from me; let Thy mercy and Thy truth continually preserve me. (Psalms 40:12) Let, I pray Thee, Thy lovingkindness be ready to comfort me, according to Thy promise unto Thy servant. (Psalms 119:76) Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable before Thee, O YHVH, my Rock, and my Redeemer. (Psalms 19:15) Our Redeemer, YHVH of hosts is His name, The Holy One of Israel. (Isaiah 47:4)

Remember not against us the iniquities of our forefathers; let Thy compassions speedily come to meet us; for we are brought very low. Help us, O God of our salvation, for the sake of the glory of Thy name; and deliver us, and forgive our sins, for Thy name’s sake. (Psalms 79:8-9) Let them praise Thy name as great and awful; Holy is He. (Psalms 99:3) Holy, holy, holy, is YHVH of hosts; the whole earth is full of His glory. (Isaiah 6:3*)

But He, being full of compassion, forgiveth iniquity, and destroyeth not; yea, many a time doth He turn His anger away, and doth not stir up all His wrath. YHVH our God is one God; Truth! And His Torah is perfect; Truth! And His Temple is the House of Prayer; Truth! And His prophets; Truth! And His commandments and His statutes and His testimonies and His judgement and all His words; Truth! (K.S.) But YHVH is the true God, He is the living God, and the everlasting King; at His wrath the earth trembleth, and the nations are not able to abide His indignation. Silent Prayer

Blessed be YHVH God, the God of Israel, who only doeth wondrous things; And blessed be His glorious name for ever; and let the whole earth be filled with His glory. Amen, and Amen. (Psalms 72:18-19) Blessed be God, who hath not turned away my prayer, nor His mercy from me. (Psalms 66:20) Please, O YHVH, God of Israel, may it be Your will to look from Your holy dwelling in heaven with mercy and see the greatness of my suffering, affliction, and humiliation. When my soul faints within me, cast me not off from before You. When my strength fails, save me in Your mercy from all my debts, forgive all my iniquities, and pardon all my transgressions. End my years in pleasantness, and have pity and mercy upon me and upon my entire family. Please cause me to have success in my current plans and endeavors, and guard me in this city from evil men, from violent persons, and from the wicked people of the generation.
