HaḲadosh Barukh hu (Blessed Holy one), Nefesh kol ḥai (Spirit of All Life) whose spirit is woven through the ḥesronan (absences/dependencies) inherent in all living creatures binding us all together as one,[1] Cf. the blessing Borei Nefashot: בָּרוּךְ אַתָּה יְיָ אֱלֹהֵֽינוּ מֶֽלֶךְ הָעוֹלָם בּוֹרֵא נְפָשׁוֹת רַבּוֹת וְחֶסְרוֹנָן עַל כָּל מַה שֵּׁבָּרָאתָ לְהַחֲיוֹת בָּהֶם נֶֽפֶשׁ כָּל חָי: בָּרוּךְ חַי הָעוֹלָמִים: (“Blessed are you, YHVH our elo’ah, Cosmic Majesty, who creates a diverse multitude of creatures, each with a dependency (lit. absence) through which it is enlivened with the Spirit of Life. May my love and concern for her health be counted among the prayers of all compassionate peoples and the prayers of your people of Yisrael to be received before the throne of your resplendent spirit, that you may restore her in complete and vibrant health and that she may continue to perform her holy work for justice, as is proclaimed in your teaching: “Tsedeq – Tsedeq Tirdof l’Ma’an Tiḥyeh” (“Justice, Justice shall you pursue that you may live”)[2] Deuteronomy 16:20 part — |
And so may she live in good health of body mind and spirit for 120 years or more. May it be your will. |
