It is customary to precede the New Year holiday meal with symbolic foods eaten with appropriate blessings and wishes suggested by their name or quality. This edition has been especially revised for the beginning of the year 5781 (2020-2021) with emendations and additions suitable to our experience of the Covid-19 Pandemic.
