יְהִי רָצוֹן מִלְּפָנֶיךָ יְהוָה אֱלֹהֵינוּ וֵאלֹהֵי אֲבוֹתֵינוּ וְאִמּוֹתֵינוּ, שֶׁתַּצְעִידֵם אֶל תּוֹךְ בֵּית הַסֵּפֶר לְשָׁלוֹם, וְתַדְרִיכֵם בְּתוֹךְ כְּתָלָיו בְּשָׁלוֹם, וְתַגִּיעֵם אֶל סוֹף שְׁנַת הַלִּמוּדִים הַקְּרֵבָה לְחַיִּים, לְשִׂמְחָה וּלְשָׁלוֹם.‏	May it be your will, YHVH the god of our forefathers and foremothers, for you to guide their footsteps into school towards peace, guide them within its walls in peace, and guide them to the end of the school year that is coming for life, happiness and peace.
וְתֵן בְּלֵב בָּנֵינוּ וּבְנוֹתֵינוּ לְהָבִין, לְהַשְׁכִּיל, לִשְׂמוֹעַ, לִלְמוֹד וּלְלַּמֵד אֶת כׇּל דִּבְרֵי תַּלְמוּד תּוֹרָתְךָ בְּאַהֲבָה, וְאֶת כׇּל הָעֹשֶׂר הַרַבְגּוֹנִי שֶׂל הַתַּרְבּוּת, הַדַּעַת, הָאָמָּנוּת וְהַמִּדּוֹת הַנִחְשָׂפוֹת לְעֵינֵיהֶם מִדֵי יוֹם, כַּךְ שֶׂיוּכְלוּ לְגַלּוֹת בְּכׇל יוֹם דָּבָר חָדָשׁ לְהִתְפָּעֵל מִן הַמֻפְלָא וּלְהִתְרַגֵּשׁ מִכׇּל גִּלוּי קָטָן.‏	And give in the hearts of our children,^[1] lit. sons and daughters to understand, to gain knowledge, to listen, to learn and to teach the teachings of your torah (instruction) with love, and all the rich diversity of culture, knowledge, arts and morals that are revealed to them day by day so that they will be able to discover something new every day and to get excited from their wonder and to rejoice in every small discovery.
תֵּן בְּלִבַּם אֶת הָעֹז לַעֲשׂוֹת בְּכׇל יוֹם מַעֲשֶׁה אֶחָד שֶׁל חֶסֶד, שֶׁיֵדְעוּ לְהָכִיל אֶת הַשּׁוֹנֶה וּלְהַעְרִיךְ אֶת הַלֹּא מֻכָּר, וְשֶּׁיִּהְיוּ מְסֻגָּלִים לִמְצוֹא בְּכׇל יוֹם דָּבָר אֶחָד לְהוֹדוֹת עָלָיו.‏	Give in their hearts the strength to be able to at least one act of loving-kindness per a day, so they will be able to know difference and to value the unknown, and may they be able to find one thing to be grateful for.
רִבּוֹנוֹ שֶׁל עוֹלָם פְּקַח אֶת עֵינֵי בָּנֵינוּ וּבְנוֹתֵינוּ הָעוֹמְדִים בְּפֶתַח מַסְלוּל חַיִּים חָדָשׁ שֶׁל גִּלּוּיי עוֹלָמוֹת, לְהַמְשִׁיךְ וּלְגַלּוֹת עוֹלָמוֹת חֲדָשִׁים גַּם בְּתוֹךְ עצְמָם.‏	Creator of the Universe, open our children’s eyes as they stand at the beginning of a new path in a life of discovery of new worlds also in themselves.
מִי יִתֵּן וְיֵדְעוּ מוֹרֵינוּ בָּנֵינוּ וּבְנוֹתֵינוּ, הָעוֹסְקִים בִּמְלֶאכֶת הַקֹּדֶש, לְהַעֲנִיק לָהֶם אַהֲבָה וְאֹרֶךְ רוּחַ, שֶׁיֵדְעוּ לְהָגֵן וּלְשַׁמֵּר בְּבָנֵינוּ וּבִּבְנוֹתֵינוּ אֶת הַנִּיצוֹץ הַטִּבְעִי שֶׁל הַתְּמִימוּת, הַסַּקְרָנוּת, הַשִּׂמְחָה וְחֶדְוַת הַחַיִים,	(God) Who will give: [may you] know our teachers, sons, and daughters, who are being involved in a holy craft — give them love and and patience that they will know to defend and keep in our children and to their children, the natural spark of innocence, curiosity, happiness and joy of life.
מִי יִתֵן וּמוֹרֵיהֶם יֵדְעוּ לְהַווֹת דֻּגְמָה וּמוֹפֵת לָהֶם וְגַם לָנוּ.‏	(God) Who will give: [may it be that] their teachers will know to give them an good example for us too.
תֵּן בָּנוּ הַהוֹרִים הַיְּכֹלֶת לְהַאֲמִין בּעָצְמוֹת הַחֲבוּיוֹת שֶׁל יְלָדֵינוּ, הַיְּכֹלֶת לְהַעֲנִיק לָהֶם אֶת הַמֶּרְחָב הַדָּרוּשׁ לָהֶם לְהַצְלִיחַ וּלְהִכָּשֵׁל לְעִתִם, וְהַתְּבוּנָה לְהַעֲבִיר לָהֶם אֶת אַהֲבַת הַלִּמוּד.‏	Give in us the parents the power to believe in the hidden talents (strength) of our children, the power to give them the space they need to have successes and failures as they come, aånd the understanding to pass on to them the love of studying.
מִי יִתֵּן וּמאוֹתִיוֹת הָאָלֶף בֵּית יוּכְלוּ בָּנֵינוּ וּבְנוֹתֵינוּ יוֹם אֶחָד לִבְנוֹת תִּלֵּי תִּלִים שֶׁל יְצִירָה, לְמַעֲנַם, לְמַעַן כׇּל בֵּית יִשְׂרָאֵל וּלְמַעַן כׇּל יוֹשְׁבֵי תֵבֵל.‏	(God) Who will give: [may it be that] from the letters of the aleph bet our children will be able one day to build a scaffold for arts, for them and for all of the house of Israel and all of the citizens of the Earth.
יְבָרֶכְכֶם יְהֹוָה ויִשְׁמָרְכֶם יָאֵר יְהֹוָה פָּנַיו אֲלֵיכֶם וְיָחָנְכֶם יִשַׂא יְהֹוָה פָּנַיו אֲלֵיכֶם וְיָשֵׂם לָכֶם שָׁלוֹם.‏	May YHVH bless you and guard you.
