יְהִי רָצוֹן מִלְּפָנֶיךָ יְיָ אֱלֹהַי וֵאלֹהֵי אֲבוֹתַי שֶׁתַּצִּילֵנִי הַיּוֹם וּבְכָל יוֹם מִלָּקוֹחוֹת נִרְגְּנִים, וּמִמְּנַהֲלִים פַּחִדָנִים. וְאִם אֲנִי חַיָּב לְהִתְמוֹדֵד עִמָם, תְּנֵנִי אֶת אוֹרֶךְ הָרוּחַ וְאֶת הַשֵׂכֶל כְּדֵי שֶׁכָּל־זֶה יַעֲבוֹד. |
May it be Your will, O Lord my God and God of my ancestors, to deliver me this day, and every day, from cranky customers and from cowardly managers; and if I must deal with them, grant me the patience and the wits to make things work. |
וּתְּנֵנִי לִשְׁלוֹט בְּרוּחִי עִם בַּתִי, וְאַל תִּתֵּן לִי לִשְׁכּוֹחַ וְלוֹ גַּם לְרֶגַע אֶחָד שֶׁהִיא הַכִי יְקָרָה. וּתְּנֵנִי לְהַקְדִּישׁ תִּשׂוּמַת לֵב לְחוֹבוֹתַי כִּלַפֵּי אִשְּׁתִי וּלְהִתְרַכֵּז בָּאֳשְׁרָהּ וּלְהֵרְאוֹת לָהּ תְּכוּפוֹת שֶׁאֲנִי אוֹהֵב אוֹתָהּ. |
Grant me also an easy temper with my daughter/son, and let me not lose sight of her preciousness for one instant. And let me devote myself to my duties to my wife/husband, and always keep her happiness in mind, and show her often that I love her. |
בְּכָל־אֵלֶּה אֲנִי מְבַקֵשׁ מִמְּךָ לַעֲזוֹר, כִּי אֲנִי לֹא יָכוֹל לַעֲשׂוֹת אֵת אֵלֶּה לְבַד |
For all this, I ask You to help me, because I cannot do it alone. |
Based on a traditional form, this is just a personal petition I drew up to remind myself of a few important things. Anyone is free to use it, alter it for their own circumstances, change the translation, etc. No attribution required.
