וּנְרְזְעוּ לְאַרְדְנָא
וּלְאַרְד זְדוּדְנָא
יְרוּשָׁלַיִם לְעְזִיזָא עְלִינָא
וּלְתּוֹרָה וּלְמִצְוֺת יִזְכִּינָא
וּזְכוּת אדָּאווּ דְלְקְנִידְלָת דִי סְעְלָנָא
יִדַוּוִי עֵינָנָא
וּעִינִין אוּלָדְנָא
בְּדָּאווּ דלְתּוֹרָה דִי הִייָא חְיָאתְנָא
וּטוּלָאן עְמְרְנָא
וּבֵעהּ נְפְנִיוּ עִידְיָינָא׃
Such is our custom
to burn our wicks
and ask of our Gd
may He preserve us for another year
and return us to our Land
Land of our forefathers
and to our beloved Jerusalem.
May we merit Torah and mitsvot (…)
in the merit of the light of the Menorah
which shines in our eyes
and in the eyes of our children
and which is the light of the Torah, our life
and the length of our days
and in whose fire we burn our enemies.
