For great upon us is Divine mercy, and the truth of the Cause is forever! Praise the Source! |
“The Cause” is used to translate the Divine Name, based on the philosophical idea of God as the Prime Mover and on the interpretation of the Name as a causative form of the copula – “causes to be.”
Psalms 117 is part of the Hallel Shalem or Ḥatsi Hallel near the end of Shaḥarit on festival days.
