It is our duty to praise the Master of everything,
to attribute greatness to the Molder of the beginning (of the world),
that He did not make us like the nations of the (other) lands,
and did not place us (deem us) like the (other) families of the earth.
That He did not make our portion like theirs,
nor our fate like all their masses.
And we bend (our knees), and bow down and give thanks,
before the King, (the) King of the kings,
the Holy One, Blessed is He.
That it is He, who stretches out the heavens and establishes the earth,
and the abode of His glory is in the heaven(s) above,
and the divine presence of His might, is in the elevated heights.
He is our God, there is no other.
Our King is the truth, there is zero other than Him,
as it is written in His Torah;
and you will know today
and you will take it to your heart,
that Hashem is the God
in the heavens above,
and on the earth below,
(and that) there is nothing else. (Deuteronomy 4:39)
That is why we hope to You, Hashem, our God,
to rapidly see the splendor of Your might;
eliminating idols from the earth,
and destroying (all) the (false) deities completely,
(thereby) perfecting the world through the Kingship of the Almighty,
and all flesh (people) will call Your Name,
(and at that time even) all the wicked of the earth will (also) turn to You.
They will recognise and will know, all the dwellers of the world,
that to You every knee will bend,
(and) every tongue will pledge (allegiance).
Before You, Hashem, our God,
they will bend (their knees) and will fall down,
and to the honor of Your Name they will pay homage.
And all will accept the servitude to Your Kingdom,
and You will, very soon (speedily) rule over them, forever and ever.
For the sovereignty is Yours, and You will reign,
with glory, forever and ever,
as it is written in Your Torah:
Hashem will reign forever and ever. (Exodus 15:18)
And it is said; Hashem will be the King upon all the earth,
(and) on this day, Hashem will be One, and His Name will be One. (Zechariah 14:9)
Do not fear from sudden terror,
and nor from destruction by the wicked when it approaches, (Proverbs 3:25)
(they) make a (wicked) plan and it will be nullified,
(they) speak a (wicked) word (declaration) and it will not stand up (happen),
because God is with us. (Isaiah 8:10)
And (even) until (your) old age I (Hashem) am (still) the same,
and (even) until (your) white hairs I will carry you,
I (Hashem) made (you) and I will support (you),
and I (Hashem) will carry and rescue (you). (Isaiah 46:4)

Richard Collis’s English translation of Aleinu with Al Kein and Al Tira is provided in the liner notes for tracks 61 and 62 of his album We Sing We Stay Together: Shabbat Morning Service Prayers (2019).

Aleinu, authored sometime in Antiquity, first appears in the liturgy for the Yom Kippur musaf service. It also is found in a first person variation among the hymns in the hekhalot texts. Aleinu became a familiar prayer for concluding services only after the beginning of the terrible massacres that befell the Jews of Ashkenaz during the Crusades. –Aharon Varady
