Die dreizehn Glaubensartikel.
The thirteen articles of faith.
1. I believe with unbreakable faithfulness that the Creator, praised be his name, is the creator and governor of all beings, who alone has brought forth everything, has caused everything to happen and also has caused everything to come into being.[1] Isaiah 37:16, Isaiah 66:2, Nehemiah 9:6.
2. I believe with unbreakable faithfulness that the Creator, blessed be his name, is unique, that no unity in any respect is like his, and that he was, is, and will be our God exclusively.[2] Deuteronomy 4:15, Isaiah 48:5. Miro also has Psalms 18:35 cited but this must be in error (perhaps Psalms 18:12 was intended?). Others cite Deuteronomy 6:4.
3. I believe with unbreakable faithfulness that the Creator, praised be his name, is not a body, that no human concept can grasp him and no figurative concept can designate him.[3] Miro has the following citation but it seems incorrect to me (Isaiah 25:18, 40). Others cite Deuteronomy 4:15, as with Article №2.
4. I believe with unbreakable faithfulness that the Creator, blessed be his name, was the first and will be the last.[4] Isaiah 41:4, Isaiah 44:6.
5. I believe with unbreakable faithfulness that the Creator, blessed be his name, alone may be worshipped, and that no other being is worthy of worship.[5] Exodus 20:3-5. Miro also cites Exodus 22:3, but perhaps that is an error. Others cite Deuteronomy 4:19.
6. I believe with unbreakable faithfulness that all the proclamations of the prophets are true and undeniable.[6] Deuteronomy 18:15.
7. I believe with unbreakable faithfulness in the prophecies of our teacher Moses (peace be upon him), and that he was the most excellent of all the earlier and later prophets.[7] Numbers 12:6-8, Deuteronomy 34:10.
8. I believe with unbreakable faithfulness that the existing doctrine in its present extent and perfection was handed down to our teacher Moses.[8] Miro’s text cites Joshua 6:6, but this appears incorrect to me and I am not certain what was intended. Others cite Numbers 16:28.
9. I believe with unbreakable faithfulness that the Creator, blessed be His name, will leave these teachings unchanged and will not substitute any other teaching for them.[9] Deuteronomy 13:1
(Ps. 33,15)
10. I believe with unbreakable faithfulness that the Creator, blessed be his name, knows all the actions of men;[10] Deuteronomy 29:28, I Chronicles 28:9.  for it is said, He who forms their hearts also observes their actions. (Psalms 33:15)
11. I believe with unbreakable faithfulness that the Creator, blessed be his name, rewards the keeping of his commandments and punishes the transgression of them.[11] Psalms 62:13, Jeremiah 32:19.
12. I believe with unbreakable faithfulness that the Redeemer will come, and his failure to come does not diminish my daily expectation.[12] Habakkuk 2:3.
13. I believe in the resurrection of the dead, if the gracious will of the Creator will allow it, — praised be his name, highly praised be his mention in infinite eternity. I hope for your help, Eternal One. I wait, Eternal One, for your help. Eternal! in your salvation I trust.
