לְמַֽעַן תִּינְקוּ וּשְׂבַעְתֶּם,
מִזִּיו בִּרְכוֹתַי,
אֶל הַמְּנוּחָה כִּי בָאתֶם,
וּלְווּ עָלַי בָּנַי,
וְעִדְנוּ מַעֲדָנַי,
שַׁבָּת הַיּוֹם לַייָ.
Guard my Shabbatot
so that you may be nurtured and satisfied
from the splendor of my blessings
to the rest to which you have come
Cling to me, my children,
and be cheered by my pleasures,
the Shabbat is the day of YHVH.
לְעָמֵל קִרְאוּ דְרוֹר,
וְנָתַתִּי אֶת בִּרְכָתִי,
אִשָּׁה אֶל אֲחוֹתָהּ לִצְרוֹר,
לְגַלּוֹת עַל יוֹם שִׂמְחָתִי,
בִּגְדֵי שֵׁשׁ עִם שָׁנַי,
וְהִתְבּוֹנְנוּ מִזְּקֵנַי,
שַׁבָּת הַיּוֹם לַייָ.
Call out freedom to the worker,
and I will give my blessing
a woman gathers with her sister
to rejoice on my happy day
wear clothes of linen and crimson,
and reflect on my wisdom,
the Shabbat is the day of YHVH
מַהֲרוּ אֶת הַמָּנֶה,
לַעֲשׂוֹת אֶת דְבַר אֶסְתֵּר,
וְחִשְׁבוּ עִם הַקּוֹנֶה,
לְשַׁלֵּם אָכוֹל וְהוֹתֵר,
בִּטְחוּ בִי אֱמוּנַי,
וּשְׁתוּ יֵין מִשְׁמַנַּי,
שַׁבָּת הַיּוֹם לַייָ.
Quickly bring the money
to prepare Esther’s feast
settle up with the owner,
to pay for food and release
Trust in me, my believers
and drink wine from my rich stores,
the Shabbat is the day of YHVH
הִנֵּה יוֹם גְּאֻלָּה,
יוֹם שַׁבָּת אִם תִּשְׁמֹֽרוּ,
וִהְיִֽיתֶם לִי סְגֻלָּה,
לִֽינוּ וְאַחַר תַּעֲבֹֽרוּ,
וְאָז תִּחְיוּ לְפָנַי,
וּתְמַלְאוּ צְפוּנַי,
שַׁבָּת הַיּוֹם לַייָ.
This is the day of freedom,
the Shabbat day, if you guard it
and you will be my people,
rest and do not transgress
then you will live before me,
and fill my store of treasure,
the Shabbat is the day of YHVH
חַזֵּק קִרְיָתִי,
אֵל אֱלֹהִים עֶלְיוֹן,
וְהָשֵׁב אֶת נְוָתִי,
בְּשִׂמְחָה וּבְהִגָּיוֹן,
יְשׁוֹרְרוּ שָׁם רְנָנַי,
לְוִיַיּ וְכֹהֲנַי,
וְאָז תִּתְעַנַּג עַל יְיָ,
שַׁבָּת הַיּוֹם לַייָ.
Strengthen my city
to El Elohim Elyon
and restore my dwelling
in rejoicing and celebration
Those who praise me will sing there,
along with my Levites and Priests,
and then you will rejoice in YHVH
the Shabbat is the day of YHVH

Herbert Loewe suggests that the acrostic may refer to Salomone Rossi, as it is written in a Provençal metre.
