	How can this year be made holy? Let us feel full, while living a year of emptiness. Help us find peace in the confusion. Give us the power to heal. May we only learn from peace. Grant us the courage to keep seeking.
עֲנֵנוּ	Answer us, let us never stop asking. Aneinu

After struggling with the requests in Aneinu, read during Seliḥot, I composed a list of requests and questions for this upcoming Shmitah year.

I am about to go on a sabbatical, and this prayer expresses perfectly what I hope to have happen during that sabbatical. Even though it’s a personal sabbatical rather than the shmita year (and will be a “time” rather than a “year”), this will be my prayer during that time. I’ve already copied it into the journal I will keep during the sabbatical. Thank you so much for sharing this very meaningful prayer!
