A “Mi Sheberakh” prayer for someone who completed public chanting of the entire Torah over the course of thirty years. It takes inspiration from the standard Mi Sheberakh for an aliyah, the “hadran” ritual for a siyyum, and quotes Exodus 24:7.

May the one who blessed our ancestors Abraham Isaac and Jacob, Sarah Rebecca Rachel and Leah, bless (______), who came up to the Torah in honor of God, the Torah and Shabbat, and in honor of his completion of chanting the entire Torah. |
May it be your will Adonai our God, that just as you helped him to complete the reading, so may you help him begin other tractates and books and finish them, to learn and to teach, to guard and to do, and to fulfill all the words of Your Torah in love, so words of Torah will never leave his and his descendants’ mouth. |
Fulfill through him the verse: “He took the book of the covenant and read it in the ears of the people, and they said ‘Everything that Adonai spoke we will do and we will listen.’” (Exodus 24:7) By this merit may the Holy Blessed One protect and rescue him from all distress and sorrow, and from all affliction and disease, and send blessing and success to all his endeavors, along with all his fellow Jews, and let us say: Amen. |
