Edna A. Maisner-Reitz ![]() Edna A. Maisner-ReitzEdna Anita Maisner-Reitz (5 October 1922 - 16 December 1998) was born in Weehawken, New Jersey to Emil (Ernie) Maisner and Selma Silverstone (Silberstein). After graduating in 1943 from Hunter College, she received her MS the following year from the University of Illinois and continued as a student researcher at Ohio State University from 1945-1947. She contributed to research on child development and education, and after marrying her husband Gerhard Reitz in 1953, made her home and continued her practice in Woodland Hills, California. She was a member of the Society for Projective Techniques and Rorschach Institute.
