Nathan Kapner  Nathan KapnerRabbi Nathan Kapner (1921-2017), born in Brooklyn, New York, was an Orthodox movement rabbi in the United States and a chaplain in World War Ⅱ. In 1966, he founded the Hillel Hebrew Academy and Synagogue (Massapequa, New York) where he also taught. He was active in the movement to free Soviet Jewry.
