Theodore LewisTheodore Lewis (1915-2010), born in Dublin, Ireland, led Congregation Jeshuat Israel (Touro Synagogue) in Newport, Rhode Island for 36 years, beginning in 1949. He studied in the Mir Yeshiva in Poland from from 1935 to 1939. On 30 June 1959, he appeared on the television program, To Tell the Truth.
