tag: 2026 Israeli–United States strikes on Iran Sorted Chronologically (old to new). Sort most recent first? A prayer for the welfare of the State of Israel, its people and its military personnel during the war with Iran begun at the end of February 2026. “Geula for Shaagat HaAri” by Benny Powers was first published to the author’s website on 11 March 2026. These teḥinot on descending into and ascending out of a shelter were written as a response to the Iran war of 2026, which featured a lot of descending into and ascending out of shelters. The teḥinah on ascending is inspired by the minhag not to write the book of Eikha on klaf, because klaf represents permanence, and we pray someday to no longer need to recite it. | ||
