I was inspired by the loving care given to the members of this community, and wanted to acknowledge these workers. I, together with three residents, wrote a prayerbook for our services, Siddur Erev Shabbat (Kindle/Amazon Direct Publishing, 2020). This prayer, which is entirely my own composition, is included in that prayerbook, and we recite it at each Friday service.

Know that your hands are the manifestation of love
Your pace is the embodiment of patience
Your voice speaks gentleness
Your being is selflessness
May you be kept from every harm and sickness
May you experience joy in your kindness
May your heart be soothed by loving eyes gazing toward you
May your soul be comforted in times of loss
And may you know that you are a blessing
Bringing holiness into this world.
