Gratitude Prayer

in memory and in solidarity with 11 beautiful souls from Pittsburgh who lived and whose gifts live on

Dear One,

I know there’s enough here
to do things worth doing
with other doers.

Sometimes,
because of what we’ve lost,
because of what we’re afraid of losing,
it can be hard to remember what we have.

So please remind us
to be mindful of what we have
so that we don’t lose it
while we still have it.

Amen.
