Soldiers of the Israeli Defense Forces
Those who keep the Holy Land safe on land, air and sea.
The order of the tefillot presented here have been the keys to opening the gates of heaven and the entrance to our hearts, a time when the Jewish People walk side by side with their Keeper, from generation to generation.
The Israeli military, from its inception, when preparing for war and as they approached the battle ground, raised their eyes to heaven in prayer and turned their hearts toward El who gave them strength, who served as their Defender and Assistant in their time of difficulty.
Soldiers of Israel, get ready to witness Hashem’s salvation. Have faith in Hashem, your elo’ah, and believe.
From the battlefields, from deep in the ocean and from high in the air, may our prayers rise and ascend through the heavens and may the one who resides alone listen and heed our voice of valor as we stand before Him in prayer. May the elo’ah of war accompany our soldiers and decorate them with victory.
Hashem Tseva’ot is with us,
a stronghold for us is the elo’ah of Yaaqov, selah. (Psalms 46:8-12)
