Two words in Hebrew:
“Go forth and learn!” |
Tsei u’l’mad |
תָּא חֲזֵי |
And two words in Aramaic:
“Come in and discern!” — In all your comings and in all your goings In all your learning and in all your discerning |
Ta ḥazei |
יְבָרֶכְךָ ה׳
וְישְמְרֶךָ (במדבר ו:כד) |
May the Holy One bless you
and hold you precious (Numbers 6:24) |
Yivarekheka Adonai
v’yishmerekha |
יָאֵר ה׳ פָּנָיו אֵלֶיךָ
וִיחֻנֶךָּ (במדבר ו:כה) |
May the Holy One’s presence shine through you
and fill you with grace (Numbers 6:25) |
Ya’er Adonai panav elekha
v’y’khunekha |
יִשָׂא ה׳ פָּנָיו אֵלֶיךָ
וְיָשֵׂם לְךָ שָׁלוֹם (במדבר ו:כו) |
May the Holy One look towards you,
