חיברתי בעקבות המלחמה תוספת ל”אבינו מלכנו” המיועדת להיות נישאת לאחר נוסח “אבינו מלכנו” הרגיל, הנאמר בבתי כנסת רבים עתה בימי המלחמה. בתי התוספת כוללים נושאים שאינם מוזכרים מפורשות בתפילה המסורתית. למעשה, אפשר גם לומר אותם בנפרד, בלי אמירת “אבינו מלכנו”.

I composed an addendum to “Avinu Malkeinu”, which is intended for recitation following the traditional version, which is said in many synagogues now during the “Ḥarvot Barzel” war. The additional stanzas include topics that are not explicitly mentioned in the traditional prayer. It is also possible to say them as an independent prayer.

Our father, our king, bless the soldiers of the Israel Defense Forces, the security forces and the policemen of the Israel Police, who stand guard over our land and the cities of our G-d, and are fighting our war.
אָבִינוּ מַלְכֵּנוּ, הִנְחִילָנוּ נִצָּחוֹן שָׁלֵם, גָּמוּר וּמֻחְלָט עַל אוֹיְבֵינוּ וּמְבַקְּשֵׁי רָעָתֵנוּ.	Our father, our king, grant us a complete, conquering, and triumphant victory over our enemies and those who seek our hurt.
אָבִינוּ מַלְכֵּנוּ, הָשֵׁב אֶת כְּלַל הַחֲטוּפִים וְהַשְּׁבוּיִים לְחֵיק מְדִינַת יִשְׂרָאֵל.	Our father, our king, return all the abductees and captives to the State of Israel.
אָבִינוּ מַלְכֵּנוּ, עֲשֵׂה שֶׁכָּל הָאֶזְרָחִים וְהַחַיָּלִים הַנֶּעְדָּרִים יִמָּצְאוּ וִיאֻתְּרוּ.	Our father, our king, let all the missing civilians and soldiers be found and located.
אָבִינוּ מַלְכֵּנוּ, הַמְשֵׁךְ רְפוּאָה שְׁלֵמָה לְכָל הַפְּצוּעִים, רְפוּאַת הַגּוּף וּרְפוּאַת הַנֶּפֶשׁ.	Our father, our king, deliver a complete recovery to all the wounded; healing of the body and healing of the soul.
אָבִינוּ מַלְכֵּנוּ, שְׁלַח עֶזְרְךָ מִקֹּדֶשׁ לְכָל הָרוֹפְאִים וְהַצְּוָתִים הָרְפוּאִיִּים הָעוֹסְקִים בְּרִפּוּי הַנִּפְגָּעִים.	Our father, our king, send Your help from above to all the doctors and medical teams involved in healing the wounded.
אָבִינוּ מַלְכֵּנוּ, הַצְלַח אֶת דַּרְכָּם שֶׁל כְּלַל הַמִּתְנַדְּבִים בָּעָם,^[1] שופטים ה:ט הַמְּסַיְּעִים בָּעֵת הַזֹּאת לַמַּאֲמָץ הַמִּלְחַמְתִּי, בֵּין בַּחֲזִית בֵּין בָּעֹרֶף.	Our father, our king, bestow success upon all the volunteers who are, at this time, assisting with the war effort, at the battle zones and in the non-combat areas alike.
אָבִינוּ מַלְכֵּנוּ, חַזֵּק אֶת יְדֵי מִשְׁפְּחוֹת הַשְּׁכוֹל, וּמִשְׁפְּחוֹת הַחֲטוּפִים, הַנֶּעֱדָרִים וְהַפְּצוּעִים.	Our father, our king, strengthen the hands of the bereaved families, the families of the kidnapped, the missing persons, and the wounded.
אָבִינוּ מַלְכֵּנוּ, אַמֵּץ אֶת הָעָם הַיּוֹשֵׁב בְּצִיּוֹן וְאֶת יְהוּדֵי הַתְּפוּצוֹת.	Our father, our king, embrace the Jews who dwell in the State of Israel and the Jews of the Diaspora.
אָבִינוּ מַלְכֵּנוּ, פְּקֹד כַּנָּה אֲשֶׁר נָטְעָה יְמִינֶךָ לְטוֹבָה וְלִבְרָכָה, וְחַדֵּשׁ יָמֵינוּ כְּקֶדֶם.	Our father, our king, remember Your people that Your right hand has planted, for goodness and blessing, and renew our days as of old.
אָבִינוּ מַלְכֵּנוּ, שִׂים שָׁלוֹם וְאַחְדוּת בֵּין עַמְּךָ יִשְׂרָאֵל מֵעַתָּה וְעַד עוֹלָם.	Our father, our king, establish peace and unity among your people Israel from this time forth, and for evermore.
אָבִינוּ מַלְכֵּנוּ, קוּם וְרַחֵם צִיּוֹן כִּי עֵת לְחֶנְנָהּ כִּי בָא מוֹעֵד.	Our father, our king, arise and have mercy on Zion, for it is time to be gracious to her; the appointed time has come.
