עֲשֵׂה לְמַעַן חַיָּלֵי וְחַיָּלוֹת צַהַ״ל, אַנְשֵׁי וּנְשֵׁי כּוֹחוֹת הַבִּטָּחוֹן, הַשּׁוֹטְרִים וְהַשּׁוֹטְרוֹת, הַחֲטוּפִים וָהַחֲטוּפוֹת, תּוֹשָׁבֵי וְתוֹשָׁבוֹת מְדִינַת יִשְׂרָאֵל, וְנִפְגְּעֵי וְנִפְגְּעוֹת פְּעֻלּוֹת הָאֵיבָה, אֲשֶׁר מָסְרוּ אֶת נַפְשָׁם עַל יִחוּד קְדֻשַּׁת שְׁמֶךָ, וְעַל קְדֻשַּׁת הָעָם וְהָאָרֶץ בְּמִלְחֶמֶת חַרְבוֹת בַּרְזֶל, וְחוּסָה עַל יִשְֹרָאֵל עַמֶּךָ. עֲשֵׂה לְמַעַן חַיָּלֵי וְחַיָּלוֹת צַהַ״ל,
אַנְשֵׁי וּנְשֵׁי כּוֹחוֹת הַבִּטָּחוֹן,
הַשּׁוֹטְרִים וְהַשּׁוֹטְרוֹת,
הַחֲטוּפִים וָהַחֲטוּפוֹת,
תּוֹשָׁבֵי וְתוֹשָׁבוֹת מְדִינַת יִשְׂרָאֵל,
וְנִפְגְּעֵי וְנִפְגְּעוֹת פְּעֻלּוֹת הָאֵיבָה,
אֲשֶׁר מָסְרוּ אֶת נַפְשָׁם
עַל יִחוּד קְדֻשַּׁת שְׁמֶךָ,
וְעַל קְדֻשַּׁת הָעָם
וְהָאָרֶץ
בְּמִלְחֶמֶת חַרְבוֹת בַּרְזֶל,
וְחוּסָה עַל יִשְֹרָאֵל עַמֶּךָ.
