Uram, Hozzád esdeklek
Rebegő ajakkal.
The night is already gone,
The dawn has arrived,
My Lord, I am beseeching thee
With fluttering lips of mine.
Adj erőt, óh, lelkemnek,
Boldog tisztaságot,
Hogy bűn nélkül élhessek,
Hűséges leányod.
Give me joyful purity,
To my soul give strength,
For me to live without sin,
To be thy faithful daughter.
Te őrizd meg utamat,
Óvj meg, védj meg engem.
Boldog hálazsolozsmát
Zeng Neked a lelkem. Ámen.
Be the keeper of my ways,
Please, guard and protect me.
Happy prayers of thanksgiving
My soul sings unto thee. Amen.
