Elmúlt már az éjszaka,
S felvirradt a hajnal, Uram, Hozzád esdeklek Rebegő ajakkal. |
The night is already gone,
The dawn has arrived, My Lord, I am beseeching thee With fluttering lips of mine. |
Adj erőt, óh, lelkemnek,
Boldog tisztaságot, Hogy bűn nélkül élhessek, Hűséges leányod. |
Give me joyful purity,
To my soul give strength, For me to live without sin, To be thy faithful daughter. |
Te őrizd meg utamat,
Óvj meg, védj meg engem. Boldog hálazsolozsmát Zeng Neked a lelkem. Ámen. |
Be the keeper of my ways,
Please, guard and protect me. Happy prayers of thanksgiving My soul sings unto thee. Amen. |
