הָאֵל הַמֶּלֶך אַב הָרַחֲמָן יִשְׁלַח מְשִׁיחוֹ הַנֶּאֱמָן |
My dear, my dear Lord
The God, the King, Merciful Father Will send his true anointed |

אַב הָרַחֲמָן שְׁמַע קוֹלֵינוּ
שְׁלַח בֶּן דָּוִד וְיִגְאֲלֵנוּ נָשוּב לְצִיּוֹן עִיר קָדְשֵׁינוּ וְנִשְׁלוֹט בָהּ בְיָד רָמָה |
Merciful Father, hear our voices
Send the descendant of David to save us We will return to Tsiyon, our holy city And we will rule it proudly |

שָׁמָּה נִתְאַסֵּף בְּעִיר הַבִּירָה
וּמֵחָדָשׁ יִשָּׁמַע קוֹל שִׁירָה וְאָז נַדְלִיק אֶת הַמְּנוֹרָה בְּבֵית שׁוֹכֵן מְעוֹנָה |
We will gather in the capital city
And the voice of singing will be heard anew Then we will light the menorah In the house where God’s presence rests |

רְאֵה בָּעֳנִי יִשְׂרָאֵל עַמֶּךָ
וְהָשִׁיבֵם נָא לִגְבוּלָךָ וְאָז יֵרָאֶה כָּל זְכוּרֶךָ שָׁלֹשׁ פְּעָמִים בַּשָּׁנָה |
O, see the hardship of your people Yisra’el
And return them please to your borders Then all will appear before you Three times a year, as you commanded. |
