Prayer for Travelers

On the first day of a journey, this prayer is to be said outside of the city, standing if possible with feet together.

And on each subsequent day of the journey, one should recite this prayer in the morning, whether on the road or in a hotel, until one returns to their home; however, on these subsequent days one should omit the Divine Name in the blessing, ending it “בָּרוּךְ אַתָּה שׁוֹמֵעַ תְּפִלָּה” 
יְהִי רָצוֹן מִלְפָנֶיךָ יְיָ אֱלֹהֵינוּ וֵאלֹהֵי אֲבוֹתֵינוּ שֶׁתּוֹלִיכֵנוּ לְשָֹלוֹם וְתַצְעִידֵנוּ לְשָֹלוֹם וְתַדְרִיכֵנוּ לְשָֹלוֹם וְתִסְמְכֵנוּ לְשָֹלוֹם וְתַגִיעֵנוּ לִמְחוֹז חֶפְצֵנוּ לְחַיִּים וּלְשִֹמְחָה וּלְשָֹלוֹם

(If  also returning that same day : וְתַחְזִירֵנוּ לְשָֹלוֹם)

וְתַצִּילֵנוּ מִכַּף כָּל אוֹיֵב וְאוֹרֵב וְלִסְטִים וְחַיּוֹת רָעוֹת בַדֶּרֶךְ וּמִכָּל פּוּרְעָנִיּוֹת הַמִתְרַגְּשׁוֹת וּבָאוֹת לָעוֹלָם וְתִשְלַח בְּרָכָה בְּכָל מַעֲשֵׂה יָדֵינוּ וְתִתְּנֵנוּ לְחֵן וּלְחֶסֶד וּלְרַחֲמִים בְעֵינֶיךָ וּבְעֵינֵי כָל רוֹאֵינוּ וְתִשְׁמַע קוֹל תְּפִלָּתֵנוּ כִּי אֵל שׁוֹמֵעַ תְּפִלָּה כָּל פֶּה: בָּרוּךְ אַתָּה יְיָ שׁוֹמֵעַ תְּפִלָּה:

Though not the Chabad tradition, it is the custom of some to say the following verses:

–  Recite the following three times
וְיַעֲקֹב הָלַךְ לְדַרְכּוֹ וַיִפְגְּעוּ בוֹ מַלְאֲכֵי אֱלֹהִים: וַיֹּאמֶר יַעֲקֹב כַּאֲשֶר רָאָם מַחֲנֵה אֱלֹהִים זֶה וַיִקְרָא שֵׁם הַמָּקוֹם הַהוּא מַחֲנָיִם:1 

–  Recite the following three times
לִישׁוּעָתְךָ קִוִּיתִי יְיָ:2 קִוִּיתִי יְיָ לִישׁוּעָתְךָ: יְיָ  קִוִּיתִי לִישׁוּעָתְךָ:

–  Recite the following three times
הִנֵּה אָנֹכִי שֹׁלֵחַ מַלְאָךְ לְפָנֶיךָ לִשְׁמָרְךָ בָּדֶּרֶךְ וְלַהֲבִיאֲך אֶל הַמָּקוֹם אֲשֶׁר הֲכִינוֹתִי:3 

–  Recite the following three times
יְיָ עֹז, לְעַמּוֹ יִתֵּן, יְיָ יְבָרֵךְ אֶת עַמּוֹ בַשָּׁלוֹם:4
