Es sei dir wohlgefällig, Ewiger, unser Gott, Gott unserer Väter, daß mein und meiner Kinder Unterhalt und der Nahrungsstand aller Menschen, von deiner heiligen Hand bestimmt werde; daß wir nicht menschlicher Gabe, noch ihres Darlehns bedürftig sein mögen, sondern deiner heiligen stets vollen, offnen und alles enthaltenden Hand. Segne meine Arbeit und jedes meiner Geschäfte, daß es mir zum Segen zum Leben gedeihe; gieb mir das Glück, daß durch meinen Geschäftsverkehr keine Entweihung deines göttlichen Namens entstehe. Verleihe mir das Glück, daß ich zu den nützlichen Menschen gehören möge, die beim Betrieb ihres Geschäftes allen Menschen und besonders den Armen nützlich werden. — Sende mir deinen Segen, sättige mich aus deinem Gute, wie du die gesättigt, die du aus Egypten geführt hast. “Gebet um einen guten Nahrungstand” was translated/adapted by Yehoshua Heshil Miro and published in his anthology of teḥinot, בית יעקב (Beit Yaaqov) Allgemeines Gebetbuch für gebildete Frauen mosaischer Religion. It first appears in the 1835 edition as teḥinah №116 on pp. 223-224.
