Blessed are You, CAUSE, Our God and God of our ancestors. God of Abraham, God of Isaac, and God of Jacob. God, great and mighty and awesome; God Almighty, who well repays kindness, and possesses all, and remembers the kindnesses of ancestors and sends a redeemer to their descendants for the Name’s Sake, in love. Sovereign, Help and Rescue and Shield—

And Mordechai knew all that had happened (Esther 4:1)

To cast entreaty for the emburdened nation.
Perhaps the High and Mighty One will protect it

Blessed are You, CAUSE, Shield of Abraham.

You are mighty forever, Master, You bring life to the dead, greatly saving. You turn the wind and send down the rain. You provide for life in kindness, bring life to the dead in great mercy, lift the fallen, heal the sick, free the bound, and keep faith with sleepers in the dust Who is like you, Master of Powerful Acts, and who can be compared to you? Sovereign, who brings death and life and causes salvation to sprout. And trusted are You to bring life to the dead—

Blessed are You, CAUSE, who revives the dead.

Leader: We sanctify Your name on earth as it they sanctify it in the high heavens, as it is written by Your Prophet: And they called one to another and said—

Community: Holy, holy, holy, is the CAUSE of Multitudes;
the whole earth is full of God’s glory! (Isaiah 6:3)

Leader: And in response, “Blessed,” they say:

Community: Blessed is the Glory of the CAUSE from the Place where it is found! (Ezekiel 3:12)

Leader: And in the holy words it is written, saying:

Community: The CAUSE will reign forever; Your God, Zion, for all generations, praise the SOURCE! (Psalms 146:10)

For all generations we tell of Your greatness. and for all eras Your sanctity we sanctify, and Your laudations, our God, will not cease from our mouths forever and ever, for a Sovereign God, Great and Holy are You—

Blessed are You, CAUSE, the Holy God.

You grant people knowledge, and make known to humanity understanding. Grant us from You knowledge, understanding, and intelligence—

And he went out into the city (Esther 4:1)
when the lot was cast upon the seed as forgiveness

פ To be redeemed, he sent to the one like a rose among the thorns
To cast entreaty for the impoverished abandoned ones

for in great folly we erred.

For upon Your great mercy we trust,
and upon Your righteousness we rely,
and for Your forgivenesses we trust,
and for Your rescue we await.
You are the Sovereign
who loves right from of yore,
skipping over the people’s Iniquities
and removing the sins of the God-fearing,
cutting a deal with ancestors,
and upholding an oath to descendants.
You went down in in the cloud of Your Glory upon Mt. Sinai
and showed Your good paths to Your servant Moses,
and the ways of Your kindness You revealed to him
to let him know You are God, compassionate and merciful,
long-suffering and great in mercy and increasing good,
and leading all the world in the path of mercy,
as is written:
And God said: I will pass My good over Your face,
and I will call by the name of the CAUSE before you,
and I will be kind to whom I am kind and merciful to whom I have mercy. (Exodus 33:19)

A long-suffering God are You,
and the Master of Mercy You are called,
and the path of repentance You taught.
The greatness of Your mercy and kindness,
remember today and every day for Your beloved seed.
Turn to us in mercy,
for You are the Master of Mercy.
In petition and prayer we anticipate Your face,
as You showed the humble one [Moses] of old.
From Your burning rage turn back,
as is written in Your Torah.
And in Your wings’ shade let us be protected and lodged,
as on the day the CAUSE descended in a cloud. (Exodus 34:5)
Skip our crimes and erase our guilt,
as on the day he stood with him there. (Exodus 34:5)
Hear our pleas and listen to a word from us,

Our God and God of our ancestors…
As a man came against us, trembling seized us.
By hitching himself to a fickle reign, we almost tripped and fell.
Cheerfully they closed the deal on us, like a mound in a pit, none could help.
They said, Come on, let’s destroy them as a people, so Israel’s name will no more be remembered. (Psalms 83:5)

Do I lift my eyes on high to call You to curse my enemies!
Expunge their name and remnant, erase their name to rot!
Foe to my foes, deceive them the way they deceived to trip us!
And they said, The CAUSE sees nothing, the God of Jacob does not understand. (Psalms 94:7)

Grievously God tortured the poor ones, but did not seek to destroy them.
Heinously guilty they were, so by taking off a ring they were terrified.
Indeed God’s good word was fulfilled, to raise them up before the nations.
In the land of their enemies I will not abandon nor despise them to destroy them. (Leviticus 26:44)

Just a preview of what would happen to the dirtied and palimpsested people.
Keep these words: “I will hide,” astir, and “pure myrrh,” mor dokh, how fragrant!
Letting Haman’s body fall, is it downha-min from the wooden pole?
In place of the camelthorn will rise a cypress, in place of the nettle will rise a myrtle. (Isaiah 55:13)

Manipulated, the gullible one wrote accusation and sorrow.
Neatly wrapping himself in sacred garb as he mistook the end time.
Other vessels he ordered to use, tools of the House of the Quarry.
And the Adversary too came among them to stand.^[1] Cf. Job 1:6, out of order 

People in Shushan ate the meat of their troublemaker.
Quantifying the price to give them over, he gaped his mouth to accuse them.
The Rock agreed to write a letter to end their hope.
I said I would release them, release their moniker from humankind. (Deuteronomy 32:26)

Sanctified ministering angels bitterly wailed, crying:
Take heed of the covenant, Merciful One, and do not break or separate from it!
Upon hearing it, the Inheritance [Torah] wore sorrowful widows’ clothing.
And she put her hand on her head and went, walking and crying. (II Samuel 13:19)

Vexed, the Tishbite wrapped sackcloth around his loins.
Whisking his way to let the three forefathers sleeping in Machpelah know.
Exploding to the Shepherd [Moses] — Why are you sleeping from considering?
Get up! Call upon your God, who perhaps will consider us! (Jonah 1:6)

Yet sealed in clay the matter was that he told to the Linguist [Mordechai].
Zealous anger of a decree they learned to overturn from Nineveh.
MENdicant-like, the son of Kish knocked on the schoolroom gates.
And covered himself with sackclosh and sat on the ashes. (Jonah 3:6)

ACcumulating children around him, three days the hidden ones fasted.
HE Might, by the voice of Jacob, weaken the hand of the RABBlerouser.
In faith he raised his hands to God: “Save us now from insults!
Lest he come and strike me, mother with children!” (Genesis 32:12

MAsters and teachers’ sons from here and from there
CHImed in cries, and their pleas went up to the CAUSE.
Receiving the shouts, the SOURCE asked:
And what is this sound of sheep that is in My ears? (I Samuel 15:14)

SO Now, the Shepherd Lit up and answered: “The infants of the holy seed,
VEry soon to be executed by the wicked enemy. Save them, SOURCE!
As the Graceful One’s mercy was stirred, seeking to weep for the occurrence.
And the Sovereign of Israel read the writ and tore it. (II Kings 5:7)

Mordechai the Jew hanged children below and their father above.
Each man was three cubits, and the fourth exposed space.
Now that he saw a twofold vengeance, he rejoiced and meditated on praise:
Me, I was returned to my post, and he was hanged! (Genesis 41:13)

AND Esther wrote emphatically, to read as with a thanksgiving hallel.
Above established what the beloved ones accepted below.
MEN who bear witness shall raise a flag to make the wonder known again.
At that time, tranquility and rescue will arise for the Jews! (Esther 4:14)

hundreds of times more than the sockets’ silver talents.

Informing Your lambs to expedite the shekel-offering,
just to be careful of what You knew was to come.
Kindled is a fire, find a way to douse it!
Let those taken to death be marked out for life.

Making worship to a narrow idol in their past,
now they were sent out to be clipped like grapes and vines.
On all sides they were trapped,
placing their eyes to You, and they were hidden in Your secrecy.

Quashed was the lot! Ruling over their enemies,
so the crosses were prepared for the Agagite to hang.
Trapping and swallowing the covering that covered,
unto darkness the enemies were entombed.

Verity and peace written on ever side,
with power of salvation, xenolith and fortress.
Yea, the plunderer was plundered, zugzwang trapped him,
shunned disdainfully was my ill-speaker.

Making celebrations of which for all time were set,
never a fourth time will [Amalek] be written.
So noted on High, and below it was sealed,
of the reason ordained in this scroll what occurred.

Issuing forth is Your Hand as to forgive the criminals,
as the Jew and the Myrtle were cast as saviors.
So their righteousness stands for all time to delight,
the inquiry of their honor to remind of those saved.

Revenge your name, awesome and holy!
Note Your vineyard, destroyed and trampled!
Gather the scattered for Your song to be renewed,
that they be sustained and revived when the Temple is built.

And just as you did wonders in those days,
confirm the wonder of universal rescue.
At Your presence, find atonement and appeasement,
God, Sovereign, enthroned on the seat of mercy.

You will arise and have mercy on Zion,
for it is time to grace her, the era has come! (Psalms 102:14)
Remember, CAUSE, the children of Edom,
on the day of Jerusalem,
who said, “Destroy, destroy,
to the very foundations!” (Psalms 137:7)

Remember Abraham, Isaac, and Israel Your servants, to whom You promised them and spoke to them: “I will increase your seed as the stars of the skies and all this land that I say I will give to your seed and they will inherit forever.” (Exodus 32:13) Remember Your servants, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob; do not consider the stubbornness of this people, their wickedness or their sin. (Deuteronomy 9:27) Remember for us the covenant of our ancestors as You said, And I will remember My covenant with Jacoob, as well as My covenant with Isaac, as well as My covenant with Abraham I will remember, and the land I will remember. (Leviticus 26:42) Remember for us the covenant with those of old as You said, And I will remember for them the covenant with those of old, whom I brought out from the land of Egypt before the eyes of the nations, to be God for them, I am the CAUSE. (Leviticus 26:45) Do unto us as You promised — And even then, when they are in the land of their enemies, I will not abandon them nor will I loathe them to destroy them, to overturn my covenant with them, for I the CAUSE am their God. (Deuteronomy 30:4) Erase our crimes like cloud or mist, as is written — I erase like a cloud your crimes, and like mist your sins; return to Me for I have redeemed you! (Isaiah 44:22) Erase our crimes for Your sake as You said — I, I myself am the One who will erase your crimes for My own sake, and no longer remember your sins. (Isaiah 43:25) Whiten our sins like snow and like wool and like cloud as is written — Come, please, so we can discourse, says the CAUSE. If your sins be like scarlet, like snow they will be whitened; if reddened like the crimson-worm they will be as wool. (Isaiah 1:18) Pour over us pure waters and purify us as is written — And I will pour over you pure waters and purify you of all your impurities, and of all your filths I will purify you. (Ezekiel 36:25) Have mercy on us and do not destroy us as is written — For a merciful deity is the CAUSE your God, who will not harm nor destroy you, nor forget the covenant with your ancestors which God swore to them. (Deuteronomy 4:31) And circumcise our hearts to love Your Name as is written — And the CAUSE your God will circumcise your hearts and the hearts of your seed to loving the CAUSE your God with all your heart and with all your soul that you may live. Hear our voice, CAUSE our God, have mercy and kindness on us;

Our God and God of our ancestors, may our prayers come before You, and do not ignore our pleas, for we are not arrogant and stubborn enough to say, “O CAUSE our God and God of our ancestors, we are righteous and have not sinned,” but we and our ancestors have sinned.

We have trespassed,  
We have betrayed,  
We have stolen,  
We have slandered,  
We have incited iniquity,  
We have incited evil,  
We have been malicious,  
We have been violent,  
We have multiplied lies,  
We have advised badly,  
We have decieved,  
We have mocked,  
We have rebelled,  
We have scorned,

We have done iniquity,

We have turned from Your commandments
and good rulings, and it has been worth nothing for us.
And You are righteous over all who come upon us,
for You have done truth, and we have caused evil.

We have caused evil and crime, so we are not saved. But put it in our hearts to leave the path of evil, and speedily redeem us as was written by the hand of Your prophet — Let the evil one leave his path, and the vile man his thoughts, and return to the CAUSE who will have mercy on him, and to our God who increases forgiveness. (Isaiah 55:7) Your annointed righteous one said before You: Mistakes, who can count them? From hidden things cleanse me. (Psalms 19:13) Cleanse us, CAUSE our God, of all our crimes, and purify us of all our impurities, and pour over us pure water and purify us as written by the hand of Your prophet — And I will pour over you pure waters and purify you of all your impurities, and of all your filths I will purify you. (Ezekiel 36:25)

Your people and inheritance,
who hunger for Your goodness,
and thirst for Your kindness,
and desire Your rescue,
will understand and know
that the Master our God’s
is mercy
and forgiveness.

And let not sin and iniquity hold back our prayers;
pardon and forgive all our sins,
for a good forgiving God are You.

Blessed are You, CAUSE, merciful, who increases forgiveness.

Look, please, at our suffering, and plead our case, and redeem us quickly for Your Name’s sake, for a mighty Redeemer are You. Blessed are You, CAUSE, Redeemer of Israel.

Answer us, CAUSE, answer us, on this fast day of affliction, for in great stress are we. Do not consider our evil, nor hide Your face from us, nor ignore our petitions. Be close to our pleas, please may your mercy comfort us. Before we call to You answer us, as the word which is said — and it will be, before they call I will answer, while they still speak I will hear. (Isaiah 65:24) For You, the CAUSE, answers at a time of strife, saving and redeeming at any time of stress and struggle. Blessed are You, CAUSE, who answers in a time of stress.

Heal us, CAUSE, that we may be healed, save us that we may be saved, for our praises are You. And bring up complete healing to all the sick, for a Sovereign God, Healer and Faithful and Merciful are You. Blessed are You, CAUSE, who heals the sick of the people Israel.

Bless this year for us, CAUSE our God, and all the types of its produce for goodness, and grant dew and rain for blessing upon the face of the earth, and satiate us with its goodness, and bless our years as good years. Blessed are You, CAUSE, who blesses the years.

Sound the great shofar of our freedom, and carry out a miracle to return the exiles, and return us together from the four corners of the earth. Blessed are You, CAUSE, who returns the exiles of the people Israel.

Return our judges as of old, and our scholars as of the start, and turn them away from struggle and pain, and reign over us, You, CAUSE alone, in kindness and compassion, and do righteousness in judgement. Blessed are You, CAUSE, Sovereign who loves righteousness and judgement.

And to the apostates may there be no hope, and may all the evil be wiped out in a moment and may all Your enemies and all the enemies of Your people quickly be cut off and the arrogant ones quickly uprooted and broken and overthrown and subjugated speedily and in our days. Blessed are You, CAUSE, who shatters enemies and subjugates the arrogant.

For the righteous, and for the pious, and for all the elders of Your people the house of Israel, and for the remnant of their scribes, and for righteous converts, and for us, may Your compassion, CAUSE our God, be awoken, and grant good reward to all who trust in Your Name truly, and place our portion with them, and never shame us, for in You we trust. Blessed are You, CAUSE, Support and Trust of the righteous.

And to Jerusalem Your city return in compassion, and dwell within it as You spoke, and build it soon in our days as an eternal building, and quickly establish the throne of David Your servant within it. Blessed are You, CAUSE, Builder of Jerusalem.

The sprout of David Your servant, quickly cause it to sprout, and rise up his horn in Your salvation, for we hope for Your salvation every day. Blessed are You, CAUSE, who sprouts the horn of salvation.

Hear our voices, CAUSE our God, have mercy and compassion on us, and accept in compassion and desire our prayers, for a God who hears prayers and petitions are You. And from before You, our Sovereign, let us not return empty, for You hear the prayers of Your people Israel in compassion. Blessed are You, CAUSE, who hears prayer.

Desire, CAUSE our God, your people Israel and its prayers, and return the service to the sanctum of Your House, and the fires of Israel and its prayers, in love receive in desire, and may the service of Israel your people always be desired. And may our eyes behold Your return to Zion in compassion. Blessed are You, CAUSE, who returns Your Presence to Zion.

Community: We are thankful for You, for You are the CAUSE our God and God of our ancestors, God of all flesh, Maker, Maker of Creation. Blessings and thanksgivings to Your Great and Holy Name. Just as You have given us life and sustained us, so too may You give us life and sustain us and ingather our exiles to Your holy courts to guard Your laws and to do Your will and to serve You wholeheartedly, for we are thankful to You. Blessed be the God of thanksgiving.

Leader: We are thankful for You, for You are the CAUSE our God and God of our ancestors forever and ever. Fortress of our lives, Shield of our salvation are You. In each generation we give thanks to You and recount Your praises for our lives are placed in Your hands, and for our souls entrusted to You, and for Your miracles that are with us each day, and for Your wonders that are every evening and morning and afternoon. O Good One, whose mercies never cease, Merciful One,

whose kindness never ends, forever we trust in You. And for all that, may Your Name be blessed and exalted, our Sovereign, forever and ever. And all life should thank You, selah, and praise Your Name in truth, God of our rescue and help, selah. Blessed are You, CAUSE, whose Name is Good; to You it is fitting to thank.
