Dinah Julia Emanuel Levi  Dinah Julia Emanuel LeviDinah Julia Levi (also: 'Di J.', 1839-1924) originally from Linwood, Pennsylvania, was the daughter of Dr. Manley Emanuel, and the wife of the lawyer Joseph C. Levi. In 1869, she sang at the consecration of Congregation Shaarei Tefilah in Manhattan. Two of her personal prayers, upon arising and before sleep, were included in an anthology of private private prayer arranged by her daughter, Annie Josephine in 1900, Meditations of the Heart.
