Prior to assuming leadership of Temple Emanu-El Congregation (Sarasota, Florida), he served congregations in Baltimore, Atlantic City, Cincinnati, and Knoxville. He is vice president of the Sarasota Ministerial Association, and writes a monthly column for The Jewish News (Sarasota/Manatee).
