This is a collection of seder teḥinot -- arrangements of vernacular supplicatory and paraliturgical prayers intended for private devotional use outside and supplementary to prayers offered publicly in the synagogue.
ברכה ותהלהBlessing and Praise: A Book of Meditations and Prayers for Individual and Home Devotion (CCAR 1923) is a collection of fifty teḥinot and devotional readings in vernacular English. The work was compiled by a committee chaired by Rabbi Solomon Freehof, along with Rabbi Israel Bettan, Rabbi Abraham Cronbach, Rabbi Morris S. Lazaron, and Rabbi Abram Simon.
This is a collection of forty prayers and twelve short essays/addresses in English by Rabbi Abraham Cronbach, Prayers of the Jewish Advance (1924). The work contains two opening prayers and one closing prayer (i.e., the “Prayers of the Jewish Advance”), prayers for ten days on the festival calendar including the Sabbath, a full confirmation service with seven prayers, and twenty miscellaneous prayers.
