Join us in creating a faithful digital transcription of Tehilim, o los Salmos, trezladados del leshon ha-ḳodesh en la lingua Sefaradit (Ǧ. Griffit, 1852/3). This translation was made by a Christian missionary press in Izmir, Ottoman Turkey, which was the only press in the region at that time with the cursive Hebrew script familiar to Sepharadim. The translation follows the typical Christian reading following the Septuagint, and we will note these contested verses where they appear.
