May the One who grants knowledge to humans
and teaches understanding to people to place in their hearts wisdom, intelligence, and knowledge. May the One open your eyes to a new revelation each day, to the beauty of the world, to the power of creation, to the beating of the heart, and to the potential of lovingkindness. |
May YHVH bless them and protect them
May YHVH shine Their face towards them and be gracious to them May YHVH lift Their face towards them and grant them peace. |
May the angel who redeemed me from all evil
Bless the young people And may my name be recalled in them, and the name of my ancestors Avraham and Sarah, Yitsḥaq and Rivqah And may they grow into a multitude throughout the earth. |
“ברכה לילדים” appears on p. 400-401 of תפילת האדם, סידור רפורמי ישראלי (2020), the Israeli Reform Movement siddur edited by Rabbi Alona Lisitsa (Ph.D.) and Rabbi Dr. Dalia Marx.
