On this day, may you beautify us.

On this day, may you summon us.

|
On this day, may you straighten us up before you.

|
הַיּוֹם תְּכַבְּדֵנוּ
|
On this day, may be you be honored by us.
|
|
הַיּוֹם תְּלַבֲבֵנוּ
|
On this day, may you be endeared to us.
|
|
הַיּוֹם תְּמַלְּטֵנוּ מִכׇּל־רָע
|
On this day, may you extricate us from every evil.

|
הַיּוֹם תִּנַקֵנוּ מֵעָוֺן
|
On this day, may you cleanse us from sin.
|
|
הַיּוֹם תִּסְמְכֵנוּ
|
On this day, may you trust in us.
|
|
הַיּוֹם תַּעֲנֵנוּ
|
On this day, may you answer us.
|
|
הַיּוֹם תִּפְקְדֵנוּ לְחַיִּים וְלִבְרָכָה
|
On this day, may you take note of us for life and blessing.
|
|
הַיּוֹם תְּצַדְּקֵנוּ
|
On this day, may you be charitable with us.
|
|
הַיּוֹם תְּקוֹמֲמֵנוּ
|
On this day, may you agitate us.
|
|
הַיּוֹם תְּרַחֲמֵנוּ
|
On this day, may you have compassion on us.
|
|
הַיּוֹם תִּשְׁמַע שַׁוְעָתֵנוּ
על השמיטה: הַיוֹם תִּשְׁמְטֵנוּ לִגְאוּלָה |
On this day, may you hear our vows.
On the Shmitah year: On this day, may you release us to our redemption. |

On this day, may you support us.

כְּהַיּוֹם הַזֶּה
תְּבִיאֵנוּ שָׂשִׂים וּשְׂמֵחִים בְּבִנְיַן שָׁלֵם׃ כַּכָּתוּב עַל יַד נְבִיאָךְ ”וַהֲבִיאוֹתִים אֶל־הַר קָדְשִׁי וְשִׂמַּחְתִּים בְּבֵית תְּפִלָּתִי עוֹלֹתֵיהֶם וְזִבְחֵיהֶם לְרָצוֹן עַל־מִזְבְּחִי כִּי בֵיתִי בֵּית־תְּפִלָּה יִקָּרֵא לְכָל־הָעַמִּים׃“ (ישעיהו נו:ז) |
“As on this day,”
bring us with happiness and joy into your sanctuary. As it is written by the hand of your prophet: “I will bring them to my holy mountain; and make them joyful in my House of Prayer, their burnt offerings and sacrifices will be accepted on my mizbe’aḥ (altar); for my home shall be called a House of Prayer for all peoples.” (Isaiah 56:7) |

וְכָתוּב
וַיְצַוֵּנוּ יְהוָה לַעֲשׂוֹת אֶת־כָּל־הַחֻקִּים הָאֵלֶּה לְיִרְאָה אֶת־יְהוָה אֱלֹהֵינוּ לְטוֹב לָנוּ כָּל־הַיָּמִים לְחַיֹּתֵנוּ כְּהַיּוֹם הַזֶּה׃ (דברים ו:כד) וּצְדָקָה וּבְרָכָה וְרַחֲמִים וְחַיִּים וְשָׁלוֹם יִהְיֶה לָנוּ׃ |
And it is written:
“And YHVH commanded us to carry out these statutes to revere YHVH our elo’ah for our own good, all of our days that [Hashem] might keep us alive, as on this day.” (Deuteronomy 6:24) and righteousness and blessing and compassion and life and peace will be for you. |
