הִנֵּה אָנֹכִי נִצֶֽבֶת עַל עֵין הַמָּֽיִם׃ |
Our God and God of our ancestors,
Behold, I stand at the spring of water. |

זְכוֹר אַבְרָהָם אָבִֽינוּ שֶׁנִצָב עַל עֵין מָֽיִם,
זִכְרִי בְנוֹת יִשְׂרָאֵל בִּמְחוֹלוֹתָן עַל נֵס מָֽיִם, זְכוֹר גִּדְעוֹן שֶׁאָחַז צֶֽמֶר רָטוּב בַּמָּֽיִם, זִכְרִי דָּוִד שֶׁשָׁפַךְ דָּם כַּמָּֽיִם, בַּעֲבוּרָם אַל תִּמְנְעִי מָֽיִם. |
Remember – Abraham our father who stood by a spring of water,
The daughters of Israel, who danced because of a miracle of water, Gideon, who held fleece soaking with water David, who poured out on the ground blood water. For their sake do not withhold water |

זְכוֹר הֶֽבֶל דָּמוֹ צָעַק מִן הָאָֽרֶץ כַּמָּֽיִם,
זִכְרִי וִעוּדֵי עַמֵךְ הַשּׁוֹפְכוֹת לִבָּן כַּמָּֽיִם, זְכוֹר זְכַרְיָה שֶׁחָזָה בְעִירְךָ נְהָרוֹת מָֽיִם, זִכְרִי חֹֽנִי בַּמַעֲגָל בְּשָׁאֲלוֹ מִמֶּֽךָּ מָֽיִם, בְּצִדְקָן חֹן חַשְׁרַת מָֽיִם. |
Remember – Abel, whose blood cried forth from the ground like water
The confessions of Your people, who pour out their hearts like water Zekhariah, who beheld in Your city rivers of water, Ḥoni, when he stood in his circle and demanded water Because of their righteousness, grant water |

זְכוֹר טְבוּחִים עַל קִדּוּשׁ שְׁמֶֽךָ בָּאֵשׁ וּבַמָּֽיִם,
זִכְרִי יוֹנָה בְּבֶֽטֶן הַדָּגָה בְיַם מָֽיִם, זְכוֹר כַּפֵּֽינוּ שֶׁאֵינָן אוֹחֲזוֹת אֲפִֽילוּ מָֽיִם, זִכְרִי לְוִיִם וְכהַֹנִים שֶׁרָחְצוּ בְשָׂרָם בַּמָּֽיִם, בַּעֲבוּרָן אַל תִּמְנַע מָֽיִם. |
Remember – Those who were slaughtered for Your name by fire and water,
Jonah in the belly of the fish, within the water, The imperfection of our hands which cannot hold water, The Levites and the Kohanim who washed their skin in water. For their sake do not withhold water |

זְכוֹר מֹשֶׁה שֶׁהִכָּה עַל צוּר וְיָצְאוּ מִמֶּֽנּוּ מָֽיִם,
זִכְרִי נַחְשׁוֹן שֶׁבַּעֲבוּרוֹ חָתַֽכְתָּ מָֽיִם, זְכוֹר סִסְרָה וְאִמוֹ שֶׁבָּכְתָה יְבָבוּת כַּמָּֽיִם, זִכְרִי עַם קְשֵׁי־עֹֽרֶף שֶׁנָתַת לָהֶן בַּמִדְבָּר מָֽיִם, בְּצִדְקָם חֹֽנִי חַשְׁרַת מָֽיִם. |
Remember – Moses who struck the rock and out came water,
Naḥshon, because for his sake You split water, Sisera and his mother, who cried and sobbed out water, The stiff-necked people in the desert to whom You gave water. Because of their righteousness, grant water |

זְכוֹר פּוּעָה וְשִׁפְרָה שֶׁהִצִֽילוּ בָנִים מִן הַמָּֽיִם,
זִכְרִי צְבַא פַרְעֹה שֶׁכָּבַֽשְׁתָּ לְמַֽעַן עַמֶֽךָ בַּמָּֽיִם, זְכוֹר קְטוּרָה שֶׁבָּכְתָה עַל בְּנָהּ דְּמָעוֹת מָֽיִם, זִכְרִי רָחָב שֶׁהוֹרִֽידָה חֶֽבֶל כַּמָּֽיִם, בַּעֲבוּרָם אַל תִּמְנְעִי מִָֽים. |
Remember – Pu’ah and Shifra, who saved boys from the water,
The army of Pharaoh, whom You conquered for Your people through water, Ḳeturah, who cried over her son tears of water, Raḥav, who let a thread down as a signal like water. For their sake do not withhold water |

זְכוֹר שְׁאֵרִית עַמְךָ שֶׁשׁוֹפְכוֹת לִבָּן כַּמָּֽיִם,
זִכְרִי תֵבֵל וּמְלֹאָהּ תְּלוּיָה בְמַתָּנַת מָֽיִם, בְּצִדְקָם חֹֽנִי חַשְׁרַת מָֽיִם. |
Remember – the remnant of Your people who pour their hearts out like water,
Your entire earth, which is dependent on the gift of water. Because of their righteousness, grant water |

שָׁאַתָּה הוּא יְיָ אֱלֹהֵֽינוּ,
מַשִּׁיב הָֽרוּחַ וּמוִֹריד הַגָּֽשֶׁם לִבְרָכָה וְלֹא לִקְלָלָה! אָמֵן לְחַיִּים וְלֹא לְמָוֶת! אָמֵן לְשֽׂבַע וְלֹא לְרָזוֹן! אָמֵן |
For You are YHWH our God,
who causes the wind to blow and the rain to fall For blessing and not for curse! Amen. For life and not for death! Amen. For abundance and not for famine! Amen. |
