Take a clean and unbroken vessel
and fill it with enough water to pour over one’s hands.
Alternate each hand as you pour the water over them,
right and left, right and left, right and left.
Then dry one’s hands and hold them slightly elevated,
while saying the following blessing:

בָּרוּךְ אַתָּה
יְיָ אֱלֹהֵֽינוּ
מֶֽלֶךְ הָעוֹלָם
אֲשֶׁר קִדְּשָֽׁנוּ בְּמִצְוֺתָיו
וְצִוָּֽנוּ עַל נְטִילַת יָדָֽיִם׃
|
Blessed are you
YHVH our elo’ah
cosmic majesty
who sanctified us with their mitsvot
and commanded us to elevate our hands.
|
