מִי שֶׁבֵּרַךְ אֲבוֹתֵינוּ אַבְרָהָם יִצְחָק וְיַעֲקֹב, וְאִמּוֹתֵינוּ שָׂרָה רִבְקָה לֵאָה וְרָחֵל, הוּא יְבָרֵךְ אֶת תּוֹשְׁבֵי מְדִינַת יִשְׂרָאֵל הַחַיִּים תַּחַת הָאִיּוּם הַמַּתְמִיד שֶׁל טִילֵי הֶרֶס וּמָוֶת.	May the One who blessed our forefathers: Avraham, Yitsḥaḳ, and Yaaḳov and our foremothers: Sarah, Rivḳah, Leah, and Raḥel bless the inhabitants of the State of Israel who live under the daily threat of missiles of death and destruction.
הַקָּדוֹשׁ בָּרוּךְ הוּא יְחַזֵּק אֶת לִבָּם וְאֶת כֹּשֶׁר עֲמִידָתָם בְּעֵת מַשְׁבֵּר, עַד יַעֲבֹר זַעַם.	May the blessed Holy One, strengthen their hearts and reinforce their resilience at this time of crisis until the wrath passes.
יְהִי רָצוֹן מִלִּפְנֵי יוֹשֵׁב בַּמְּרוֹמִים שֶׁיִּתֵּן עֵצָה טוֹבָה בְּלֵב כׇּל קְבַרְנִיטֵי הַמְּדִינָה, שֶׁיֵּדְעוּ לְנַהֵל אֶת מִלְחֶמֶת הָעָם בְּתוּשִׁיָּה, בַּהֲבָנָה וּבְחָכְמָה.	May it be the will of the One who resides in the Heights to give good counsel to the mind of all the leaders of the State that they know to conduct the people’s war with resourcefulness, with discernment and wisdom.
ה׳ צְבָאוֹת, אֱלֹהֵי מַעַרְכוֹת יִשְׂרָאֵל, שְׁמֹר נָא עַל חַיָּלֵי צְבָא הַהֲגָנָה לְיִשְׂרָאֵל הָעוֹמְדִים בַּמַּעֲרָכָה בַּיַּבָּשָׁה, בָּאֲוִיר וּבַיָּם, בַּחֲזִית וּבָעֹרֶף, וְעַל כׇּל כֹּחוֹת הַבִּטָּחוֹן וְהַהַצָּלָה.	YHVH Tsevaot, elo’ah of the ranks of Israel, please protect the soldiers of the Israel Defense Forces who are involved in this campaign, on land, in the air, and at sea, on the battlefront and the homefront and all the security and rescue forces.
הַצִּילֵם אֱלֹהֵינוּ מִכׇּל צָרָה וְצוּקָה וּמִכׇּל פֶּגַע רַע, וּשְׁלַח בְּרָכָה וְהַצְלָחָה בְּמַעֲשֵׂי יְדֵיהֵם׃ צֵאתָם לְשָׁלוֹם וְשׁוּבָם לְבָתֵּיהֶם לְחַיִּים וּלְשָׁלוֹם.	Save them, our elo’ah, from every trouble and malevolent design, and deliver blessing and success to the striving of their hands. May they go out in peace and return to their homes alive and whole.
אָבִינוּ שֶׁבַּשָּׁמַיִם, שִׂים שָׁלוֹם בָּאָרֶץ וְשִׂמְחַת עוֹלָם לְכׇל יוֹשְׁבֶיהָ, וִיקֻיַּם בָּנוּ בִּמְהֵרָה בְיָמֵינוּ מִקְרָא שֶׁכָּתוּב: ”וְיָשְׁבוּ אִישׁ תַּחַת גַּפְנוֹ וְתַחַת תְּאֵנָתוֹ וְאֵין מַחֲרִיד, כִּי פִי ה׳ צְבָאוֹת דִּבֵּר“. (מיכה ד:ד)	Our Guardian in Heaven, bring peace to the Land and endless joy to its inhabitants and fulfill for them, speedily in our days, what is written in Scripture: “But every person shall sit under their grapevine or fig tree with no one to disturb them. For it was as YHVH Tsevaot decreed.”^[1] Micah 4:4.
וְכֵן יְהִי רָצוֹן, וְנֹאמַר אָמֵן.	May it be your will and let us say, Amen.

This prayer for the success of the Israeli Defense Forces and the safety of all the inhabitants of the Land of Israel offered by the Masorti Movement in Israel during the November 12th, 2019 Tel Aviv rocket strike. It was first published on the website of the Masorti Movement without a translation. The prayer is based upon a prayer previously prepared by Rabbi Simcha Roth and Rabbi Michael Graetz. The English translation presented here was prepared by Aharon Varady and contributors to the Open Siddur Project, with corrections by Shoshana Michael Zucker.
