תפלות לחיילי צבא ארצות הברית Prayer Book for Jewish Personnel in the Armed Forces of the United States (1984) is a trans-denominational and bilingual Hebrew-English siddur arranged by the Commission on Jewish Chaplaincy of the Jewish Welfare Board. The siddur served to update the prayerbook offered by the organization in 1958. It included elements from The Traditional Prayer Book for Sabbaths and Festivals (ed. Rabbi David de Sola Pool, 1960), The Gates of Prayer (ed. Rabbi Chaim Stern, 1975), and a siddur that had not yet been published in 1984: Sim Shalom (ed. Rabbi Jules Harlow, 1985). On the verso of the title page Rabbi Stephan O. Parnes is credited as editor, while Rabbi Gilbert Klaperman, Rabbi Leonard S. Kravitz, and Rabbi Max J. Routtenberg are credited for their editorial work in preparing the manuscript of the siddur in the Acknowledgments section.

This is the first edition of סִדּוּר תְּפִלַּת מַצְלִיחַ Sidur Tefillat Masliah (Libro de Oraciones) (1974), a bilingual Hebrew-Spanish nusaḥ Sefaradi prayerbook compiled and translated by Rabbi Meir Matsliaḥ Melamed (1920-1989). As no Hebrew type with vocalization and cantillation marks was available to printers in Brazil, where Rabbi Matsliaḥ first began compiling prayerbooks, he developed a process of reproducing the liturgy from images of older siddurim and, occasionally, typewritten text. Rabbi Melamed’s translation appears to the sides of these images and his commentary underneath. This Spanish edition was preceded by a bilingual Hebrew-Portuguese edition published in Brazil in 1966.

הסדור המצוין Ha-siddur ha-Metsuyan, a bilingual Hebrew-English prayerbook for most days in the liturgical custom of Ashkenaz, was compiled and translated by Rabbi Dr. Solomon Schonfeld between 1969 and 1973. The siddur contains an abundance of textual references appearing as sidenotes to the translation.

This is the first edition of Sidur Tefillat Matsliaḥ (1966), a bilingual Hebrew-Portugues nusaḥ Sefaradi prayerbook compiled and translated by Rabbi Meir Matsliaḥ Melamed (1920-1989).

Besides the liturgy of the siddur, this prayerbook includes essays concerning prayer by 20th century scholars in Spanish translation, such as Rabbi Abraham Joshua Heschel and Israel Abrahams.

ִתְּפִלָּתֵינוּ: סִדּוּר לְכׇל הַשָּׁנָה Tefilaténu: Siddur l’Khol haShanah (1932) a/k/a סִדּוּר שִׁילֹֹה is an everyday (kol-bo) nusaḥ Ashkenaz siddur by Ẓevi Scharfstein (1884-1972). The siddur has been reprinted many times over the last century and is ubiquitous in Hebrew Day Schools in the United States as a child’s first siddur. Unlike any others to our knowledge, it contains line numbers — a pedagogical feature for classroom use. That is contains no accompanying translation may be considered a feature, rather than a problem, for educators who intend their students to become more familiar with the source liturgy than any one possible translation.
