Aaron Dym  Aaron DymRabbi Aaron Dym (1896-1951) was born in Liska, Galicia and received semikhah from R. Shmuel Engels before emigrating to the United States via England in 1925. In 1926, he began serving as secretary of Degel HaRabonim (the Federation of Orthodox Rabbis of America) and in 1935 was promoted to executive secretary. In New York City, he was rabbi of Linsker Congregation in New York from 1926-1929, Nepolokowitz-Bukowina Congregation from 1930-1939, and beginning in 1941, he led Congregation Sha'arei Torah.
